      People complain about South Korea being xenophobic and racist for not being open to foreigners, but that’s how we protect our people and prevent troublemakers and uncivilized people entering our country. I live in Seoul and I can walk around alone at 4am and I feel safe. Can’t do that in Paris or most German cities. Our people and culture come first.

Whoever wants to enter any of the gulf countries must have a paid job, home and be legally resident. They simple don't allow anyone to create any problem that can affect the security and economy of the country. The law is veerery strict. I lived in Dubai for 15ys they never granted citizenship or so. Only this things happened in Europe. That's why the Syrians, Afghans, Iraqis and all those war situation countries choose Europe because they accept them illegally. I taught English in Indonesia and I saw people hiring nannies to parent their kids for them. It never works. Some people are just not cut out to be parents, either they don't have the time or inclination to do it properly. One case is not more than just an example. Just because one had bad experiences and another good doesn't make eather the general situation.
      Issue is though, that once immigration offices are allowed to deport they start deporting more and more people. And it is not what our judicial system is about if people are deported just because of crimes. If we treat german murderers, thieves, robbers and delinquents with rehabilitation and resocialisation we shouldn't make a difference towards others.

      @frs 12 I agree, that's why i said you can't judge from one good experience how the situation is for the rest.
      And sure, a government will use any wiggle room to get what it's after.
      This wouldn't mean that one bad experience has other ones following. The second step depends on the backlash and critique.

    • @andrejasofrenovic3425
      @andrejasofrenovic3425 3 ปีที่แล้ว +42

      @@jonabub Because the situation is not the same; Germany simply does not have the same responsibilities to its own citizens and illegal immigrants. It's like inviting someone to stay in your house because they are in a difficult situation; if they act out you will probably kick them out, but you won't do the same for your own family members. There must be an understanding that letting immigrants in is giving them a helping hand and not their existing right, so Germany is in position to decide to who it is willing to extend this kindness to. Furthermore, what should also be taken into consideration is that rehabilitation and resocialisation cost; why give it to someone you do not owe it to.
      From my experience, most immigrants are kind people simply trying to survive, and not criminals, so I'm sure tge majority will not suffer because of this.

    I witnessed the German immigration system firsthand for years since 2015. It’s a disaster. Germany as a country is on a track to irrelevance. The last time I was in Köln I witnessed something I had never seen anywhere in Europe: two policemen running after a suspect on foot. More diversity, inequality, violence and poverty, Germany is slowly turning into my home country, Brazil.
