Megan's dance was extremely creepy to me as a computer coder. Megan wasn't coded to perform the dance. Megan's AI generated this response. This begs the question why the AI thought to do this. Did it reason it would terrify her victim? Or did she just "feel" like dancing? Either is equally terrifying.
I don't think I will be able to watch Megan, it's really creeping on my fear of dolls, she's even more terrifying to me than Chucky was, Megan was so realistic but still doll-like at the same time, soo not going there...I am even terrified of Muppets or just puppets in general, so Megan would be 100 times more terrifying to me...
I felt like it was weirdly forced, had no reason to be done by Megan, and broke the pace of a intense sequence of scenes. Seemed like they saw Wednesday's dance on tik tok and decided to film this in reshoots and put it in in post to ride the hype.

Not a great film but the dance scene in Gamer where Michael C Hall dances with the "players" he controls as puppets on his side to the sound of "I Got You Under My Skin" was pretty neat.
Think you need a sequel to this, there's quite a few more dance scenes by villians, including Jack Nickolson's version of Joker, dancing at the end of the 1989 film.
Maybe not a 'villian' but certainly not a good guy, Tom Cruise in the end of "Tropic Thunder". That has changed what I see in my head whenever that song plays.
I think a couple honorable mentions should be for Buffalo Bill's (actor Ted Levine) dance in "Silence of the Lambs" and "Francis, the dancing hit man" (actor Sam Rockwell) in the movie "Mr. Right"

Everytime someone says "Huh M3gan's dance is a tiktok trend and out of place", I say "then you must HATE Reservoir Dogs, because being mocked with a little dancing before being killed says how trivial your life is to the killer". It's just another kind of language in storytelling, sometimes abused, but generally serves to show us something. I'd place Joker on the 1st place for the stair dance and the subway bathroom too.
If you loved M3GAN (2022); then you should give Brynhildr in the Darkness (2014) a good binge-watch; at least once. Both Kana Tachibana from Brynhildr in the Darkness (2014) and M3GAN from M3GAN( 2022) can be quite mouthy and rude especially towards the people they are not close with ( in M3GAN's case when it comes to protecting Cady) but both them are great characters in their own ways.
Sam Rockwell had some serious moves in Iron Man 2, when he's at the Stark Expo. Every time I hear "Pick up the Pieces" by the Average White band, I see his moves.
For me, it was definetely Ex Machina because it fit the plot so well. That's when you realized Keiko was a robot, and sent the story in a very creepy direction.
