> How is the filtration quality? is it better than powerhead/ Sponge filter/ top filter?
> Whats the size of your tank you're using for?

You can use any bio media! watch the video carefully he told to remove activated carbon only as it would filter out the micro macro nutrients from water which is needed for plant. Every filter doesn't have carbon you have to check. Also watch full video asking stupid questions
