Finally!,someone who can actually play this bass line accurately and also break it down into teachable segments. Thanks and please continue doing great work.
Awesome lesson. I learned the main riff years ago but never bothered to learn the whole song. The "new car, caviar, four star daydream" part is one of my favorite parts and I'm so glad I can play it now.
Terrific video. I had learned this by ear some time ago and needed a good refresher. I am glad that you cleared up the sax solo and guitar solo parts. It had me a bit confused at first because the sax solo stays in 4:3 time.
GREAT LESSON THANKS --- I PLAY GUITAR AND IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GET BASS PLAYERS so was doing some bass lines on my acoustic guitar I didnt want a huge bass and a friend who is a bass player living 1200 miles away suggested this 199.99 dollar Jaguar my Short Scale bass and I purchased a Fender Rumble small amp . I should have done this years ago . I perform a single . I play from the 60s on up BUT thanks again PERFECT
Awesome! I got it... except for the last walk down from from B (4th fret of G string)? But I'm not worried about it, - I'll get after another run through of this free video lesson ...
Hola amigos. Saludos Y Abrazos
Are you actually barring the D and G strings when you are playing the main riff? I am new to bass, so while playing this riff I am getting a lot of string noise when I lift my finger off the A string.

Nice lesson, thank you very much
I see that you roll your pinky as I do when going from 4th on G to 4th on D. Good to know my way is not incorrect. Thank you.
wonderful detail, so calm. cant wait to try it. thanks, man.
I agree this guy’s happening!
Nice tutorial man, thanks a lot!
Great tutorial. I'm running to my practice space to give it a go!
This is really helpful. Thank you. There is one part missing. In the verse, the riff follows the vocals with a D, B, D, B, Fsharp, A, B, D.
Learning this now. Your A string buzzes everytime you hit the open string? Thx for the lesson.
that is one well used bass 👍
Split screen rules bass brother 😎

I love the three different angle video shot but I'm a beginner and I wish you could explain it broke it down slower.
t1l1l1n in the settings you can slow it down 50% and still hear it.

6:36 That pause is the hardest thing to get in the whole song!
Good lesson thanks 🙏
Great detail - love the split screen. Where can I get the BASS TAB for this version? There's a few different versions out there.
