I saw the same tour in Tampa…. So Shinedown years ago when Spiritbox first started, they had their album Eternal Blue, their tour was cancelled due to COVID. Shinedown and their label, covered all costs for Spiritbox and their crew so they could be paid, and Brent their lead singer just asked them to pay it forward when they could. Come full circle to this tour with Papa Roach, Brent and Jacoby immediately said we want Spiritbox to come with us, and there is the story of this tour and how incredibly amazing it was. SPIRITBOX = amazing live All of the bands brought it IMO
You need to listen to this EP from start to finish. Ita a concept EP, each song journeys chronologically through Courtney's existential pain, processing, and post-pain growth. Ultraviolet is the CONCLUDING and resolute song to this concept EP.
Anytime Spiritbox comes through I have to go see them. Must sing my heart out with Courtney 💗. They just got nominated for their 1st Grammy with the song "Jaded". What I love about them is they can be soft like "Ultraviolet" then blow you away with "Holy Roller".

I've been very pleased seeing bands like them and Sleep Token emerge recently in a music scene that's oversaturated with industry plants and subpar barely mediocre performers(not even musicians, their whole lives are fake and just pretending to be who they aren't)🤘🏼 so glad you guys got back to their🤌🏼🔥 music!!!
Courtney, can growl and scream with the best of the best lead singers. She has lot's of songs where she screams and growls for the whole song, and also many songs where she does both clean vocals and screams / growls. She did a lot of screaming in the band Iwrstledabearonce. Check out Cellar Door from this same EP if you want to hear her harsh vocals. The singer Courtney and the Guitarist Mike are married. You guys should check out Mara Affect 1,2, and 3, Bleach Bath, and Perennial by Spiritbox. They all really showcase the bands range and Courtney's vast vocal range.

My biggest gripe with reactors when it comes to Spiritbox is the prediction of when she's going to scream... even when the song is clearly not going there because it would make no musical sense.
