So the full war with all the armies hasnt started yet, as by the end of season 1 they couldn’t even be sure of all that support they have now. So season 1 was the backstory, season 2 was the setting up and season 3 will be the war itself, season 4 will probably be the decline

Someone even pointed out that the sound of the piano signals a major plot twist. imagine the way my heart dropped when the piano came in. we're in a for an epic season 3.

Me too! The moment I saw the Hightowers marching and seeing Prince Daeron riding Tessarion gave me chills. Especially him not knowing what his mother just did.
I’m literally crying. The tone of this music is one that greatly mixes emotions and the profound reality of the events that will unfold in the next season. This theme is a war and fight theme but the tone is for sure an allusion that suggests that it will be a costly war and great sacrifice from both sides. I absolutely love this theme, I’m still in awe and I’ve heard it more than 8 times. Just WAOH WAOH WAOH WAOH!!🔥

I did notice that the Rains of Castamere theme was in there, despite that song being based on Tywin's actions only a few decades before GoT begins. But I like to think the theme pre-dates those events, and is just the general anthem of House Lannister, that was just put to those lyrics later on.

Love how they still incorporate the Reins of Castamere into the Lannister image. Even though the namesake doesn’t happen until much later, it’s such an iconic piece that it basically encapsulates everything about the great house of the Westerlands. If they wanted to give it an in universe explanations they could just say that the piece itself has existed for centuries as a popular westerlands song and the Reins of Castamere’s lyrics were just added on after what Tywin did
