Unfortunately the likelyhood of that ever being able to happen is rather slim, at least as long as the Macross franchise remains in the series, since Harmony Gold still has an iron grip on any Macross related products distibuted outside Japan.

Pretty much every series involved was released sometime in the United States, and for fuck's sake, they had Golion/Voltron with plot missions instead of just the unit alone jammed in like Combattler in J. Only issue is, yes, licensing. That and sales. GBA did have the first two OG games released but I don't recall them being bestsellers here. :/

So Suzaku is probably going to be the go to mech for Code Geass now since they seem to love the Lancelot and since the main story is over theres no reason for him to be an enemy. I'm fine with that since the Guren and Kallen had a lot of spotlight in the last games and Suzaku was always on the other side until the end. I'd love it if they improved Suzaku's character a bit and made him a bit more likeable. We're going to see the conclusion on Gurren Lagann. Hopefully you can save the characters who die in the anime. God damn I love Gurren Lagann so I can't wait for that. Gundam. We have the classics back along with Seed which i'm actually happy about. the Z series was my first SRW so It's not like i've seen them used a lot and the Seed units ended up being some of my main units in Z2. Endless Waltz will be covered and I hope that in doing that they can clear up how the hell Wing Zero actually obtained.... wings. Path of the Trailblazer is going to be covered too and I hope that they correct a few things I didn't like about it like what happened to Setsuna at the end. I've never watched Unicorn but I tend to main Gundam units so i'll be happy to give them a try. I never watched AT Votoms but I enjoyed the units so I'll be sending Chrico back out onto the field for sure. No Overman King Gainer? I'm actually really sad about that. King Gainer was an awesome mech which used a type of element that you don't see used much.
The TV series of Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz had different mecha designers, so Wing Zero is the same unit, it just looks different because someone else designed it. Same with the other Gundams. The guy who made them, Hajime Katoki, also went back and redesigned the 1st Gen Gundams too. I actually prefer his designs. And Gundam Unicorn is pretty awesome.

SMAXZO CCA was also featured in an OVERWHELMING load of SRWs, as well as Z Gundam regardless of which version (Movies or Series), yet I don't see anyone complaining about their repeated appearances. Regardless, as stated by SazukeEx1, SEED Destiny warranted its appearance here thanks to its major relevance in the plot, besides its popularity and the positive feedback from Z1's Plot Fix. And Endless Waltz did not show up in SRW UX, OG or any of the Z2, so it's been a considerable while since we've last seen them. Besides, considering the plot of Z2 and the vanilla animations, I know a lot of people (Myself included) were actually anxious to see how the Customs would look here.

If you knew the plot of the game and how important certain characters are than you would know why Shinn, Lunamaria, Kira, and Athrun will be in not only Z3.1 but Z3.2.
@mregasi I'm with you on that one. How many games have SEED Destiny been in now? Fucking hell man, I'm getting sick of SEED Destiny and Endless Waltz for that matter. Heck, I'm thinking that best part of this preview (besides Shin Getter, Shin Mazinger and Gurren Lagann) is Gundam Unicorn finally got to be in a SRW game...though that would mean that there will be 3 Neo Zeon running around.
SMAXZO CCA was also featured in an OVERWHELMING load of SRWs, as well as Z Gundam regardless of which version (Movies or Series), yet I don't see anyone complaining about their repeated appearances.
Regardless, as stated by SazukeEx1, SEED Destiny warranted its appearance here thanks to its major relevance in the plot, besides its popularity and the positive feedback from Z1's Plot Fix.
And Endless Waltz did not show up in SRW UX, OG or any of the Z2, so it's been a considerable while since we've last seen them. Besides, considering the plot of Z2 and the vanilla animations, I know a lot of people (Myself included) were actually anxious to see how the Customs would look here.
Andy Oliver At least CCA and Zeta is cool. And I'm curious how they are going to play around with 3 Neo Zeon running around. Besides, the mechs in Zeta and CCA are pretty damn good even today...compared to Destiny Gundam. I feel that the Destiny is a downgrade from the Impulse.
Andy Oliver But you got me there, at least SEED Destiny appearance here make sense in story, unlike SEED's appearance in Alpha 3....however, that does not excuse them for not including Turn A. This is as much of a Turn A story as well, what with they trying to avert the Dark History and the possible impetus for Char's Heel turn,
