Usually teachers either discussed intensity method or geometrical method( class 12).That's where I was confused. Thank you sir for explaining both methods making all the concepts crystal clear.❤
In most of the books of class 12 physics, we are forced to remember that the first minimum is at lambda/slit width , without any logic! But his integration method gave us the minimum level logic to at least not feel like if we are remembering this whole thing without any logic. Thank you sir!

Best method for diffraction due to single slit , the conventional method to derive the position of minimas by dividing the aperture is quite complex
