Before replacing worn valve stem oil seals, it is important to check that the valve guides are not worn, or the new seals will fail very rapidly. Unless you purchase the seals from the vehicle manufacturers agent, it is also important to check on the quality.

Years ago we used to put a little bit of transmission fluid put the car at a higher idle around 1200 RPMs and we would poor about 8 oz of transmission fluid down the carburetor slowly and the transmission fluid will smoke White color makes a big cloud of white smoke but it is good to burnout all the carbon in the cylinders works really good but it will create a lot of white smoke we did this in the old days at my father's repair shop back in the 70s and 80s it works real good about getting off all the carbon buildup but you have to port in a little bit of time very slowly but at a time and it works really great

1991 Chevy Silverado 5.7 135.000 miles My truck just started smoking out of 1 side. Drivers side, Heavy Blue smoke when u rive it up. Started doing this after i changed oil with 4 quarts oil plus 1 quart Lucas Oil stab.. I also changed out 1 injector tbi throttle body with New/reman. injector. Also replaced oil pressure sensor.. Now it started smoking blue smoke out of just one side. IT also still running rich/flooding but no misfire or loss of power i dont think but i havent road it yet. I think i make have a broke oil ring but hoping not. All help appreciated

Most of the time from my experince its from bad fuel in 2nd world, best examples are EGR valve cleanup on 2016 build cars, they get cloged up Also when you travle to 1st world and pour in that fresh fuel literaly car runs better, and in case of Serbia its much cheaper (here 1L Diesel is 1.55€)
Yes, the fuel is really bad in Bulgaria also, although the diesel is a bit cheaper here - about 1.15 EUR per liter. It is mostly diluted with water and some other crap which is absolute hell for the fuel injectors. When i go with my car on a trip to Central Europe, not only it runs better but it also makes the engine vibrate far less and even when accelerating fast there is almost no smoke coming from the rear.
Blue smoke only appear for a short moment during cold start in the morning... after that, anytime during the day i start it back, example after stopping by.. and start back up again, there is no smoke.... any thoughts what could possibly be the cause? Usually only in the morning or if the car gets wet due to raining the night and start it back up the next morning there will be short moment of blue smoke...

another common cause of burning engine oil (blue smoke) that should be mentioned is worn valve stem seals.

How to diagnose if coolant is really mixing or some other issue? I mean if there would be some kind of signs that coolant is mixing, how to check?
