Hello Bruno, This is the first time seeing your channel. I too love Hoyas, my favorite ❤️. I have found that my Hoyas like to be in smaller pots, they seem to push out more growth. Keri are very slow growers in my care as well. Good luck with the move, & I can’t wait to see your new home.
I enjoyed your collection. Thank you for sharing. I LOVE my 'Jennifer' -- in my East window she grows so fast, and I don't have her trellised yet so I should try that. My sunrise got beautifully stressed in a very bright south window.
Ive noticed this winter by placing my hoyas on a grid shelf under grow lights with other larger plants above and below, they grow faster. I think they compete with each other to get to light. Im afraid to put them back in the widows in spring. The grid sheld is in front of east windows but the only get early morning light about 5 hours.
Thanks, today I got the keys to the new place. So you can imagine that for the next few days I'm going to be very busy. But as soon as I am settled in there will be an update video.
Thanks! Friends are coming over tomorrow with a van to help move all the indoor plants. The movers were just too confused about moving all my plants, didn’t want to be responsible for any damages! The big move starts on Monday.
Hello! New York here. I enjoy your videos! I have the obovata for three years, big beautiful, heavy leaves. Its a slow grower from five to fifteen leaves. My sunrise is doing great, moved from South facing to west window but it's not getting that beautiful sun stressing. Patience they say... Regarding flat mites, I honestly don't believe the hype but sulfur does encourage growth. I add a drop to each pot just twice and now the plants are too big for my window! Congrats on ur new home. Look forward to your next video! Dee, LI, NY
Hi Bruno! A fellow Hoya enthusiast here from British Columbia 🇨🇦 Congrats on the new space! Looking forward to the next video. I also purchased a Multiflora Outer Variegated with very low variegation, but the new growth is surreal with colour! Have fun with the move and finding everyone’s new happy place. 😊
Thanks for your comments & wishes. We are both in similar latitudes, similar problems growing indoor plants. Long dark winters, sometimes we get the odd beautiful sunny day in the midst of winter. Yeah, I was happy to find the townhouse with large south facing windows! It was one of my priorities.I hope my Multiflora's variegation improves as it continues to grow.
@@tropicalsupnorth6658 I love the organic substrates myself. I’m still having fun mixing and tweaking them. Crushed oyster shells for the Eriostemmas ..fly frass as fertilizer etc.. I do want to try a few in pon to compare! I haven’t yet!! Maybe just for the really thirsty ones! 😄 Self watering would be a huge timesaver for sure.
I am rather skeptical when it comes to these "flat mites". I'm pretty sure with most hoya the issue lies elsewhere. Concerning your Callistophylla, I'm guessing it is not getting enough light. I have one and like yours it sat there inactive for ages. So this summer I put it out on my balcony (South facing, Germany). Promptly burnt off the biggest leaf, that was a fail. However, it acclamated and now it has started growing and taking off. I do not give it the full blast, there is a shady little spot, which filters a bit of the harsh noon sun to be less agressive. But clearly, in this case, the hoya didn't get enough light. As soon as it got used to the sudden change of light amount and intensity it started growing from several spots at once. Maybe try and find a South facing window for yours and see what happens 👀
Just came across your channel liked and subscribed..I'm becoming to be a hoya addict..lol g ey are all just so darn pretty
Good lock in you new house ❤

Hi Bruno :) I am the 100th subscriber :) You have lovely hoya collection :)
Congratulations! I didn’t notice that I hit the 100 mark, too busy after moving, still unpacking boxes!
I love Miro he's become very popular in the states.😻

Are you growing your Hoyas in organic substrates? Once I’ve moved, I’m planning to replant most of them to PON in self-watering pots.

Hi! i come from Firefly in the room
Thank you for sharing. We are all climate challenged in some way. My Hoya Sunrise was the fastest growing in my collection and love it.

I've moved my Callistophylla next to a south facing window. When I move next week all my plants will be next to south facing windows.
