My step : read the answer and try to understand the answer and then make the answer in your own word , if it is very long then make the answer in points and again understand the answer . Start dividing significant points and highlight the point what could help you remember what you read. 2.Write down these points in chunks to a small paper, remember how many points you wrote in total and REMEMBER the number of it so you do not miss any point without realising it. For eg: 1. Name of the character. 2.He liked.... 3. The reason why he couldnt... 3.When you write the exam, you'll be able to recall the first two or three words of each points. Make small points from these concept in your own words. If your answer is too long then leave it as soon as you wrote all important points and go to next. If your answer is too short give "extra points for small points" Such as 1. This happened due to this behaviour 2. Add an extra sentence to each point that do not make alot of difference in the plot/ essay. 3. Add sentences that highlight the answer of the given question. I did these for my 10th board exam and got 99% ^^
