Andy I drove for 50 years and retired in July last year after 46 years with the same co. After the COE's of 70's & 80's we had some W900 A model'S We had T600's when they came out. In the 90's went back to W900's and that is all they have now about half are pre emision and still going. A blast from the past the first semi I drove was IH Emeryville.

Yeah i agree with you man!! Boooo Drum Brakes!! I hate them!! Theyre a pain in the ass and very costly. Plus they burn up the brakes easily. Id rather have disc brakes! They save a lot of wear and tear!!

I owned an 07 a few yrs back. Very similar and almost affordable. Not sure how a guy would do it today with big pricetags and fuel the way it is.

@@username16129 Drums can be a pain in the winter. After running a trailer with discs I wouldn't order anything with drums anymore. It's also easier to swap pads and they don't need to be greased, at least the brand that Aspen uses.

Rumors like that have been flying for years. KW owns the market now, and the B-cab is also used in the C500 and 963 trucks, too.
I’ll be glad when drum breaks are no longer an option. Can you imagine going into your local dealership and ordering a new Corvette or Mustang and ask them if they can take the disc brakes off and put drums on it lol
i got a fuccin 21 with drums on my t680 and jesus bro!!!! this shit is terrible.
Except it's not a mustang or corvette or anything remotely analogous to a sports car. Drums work, parts and repair are available everywhere.

Depends on what you pull. Our rates have never been higher. Averaging $5.02 all miles plus 20 % fuel for last 6 months. We run a 50% dead head.

Beautiful luv the extra room in sleeper Pete's look good but cabs and bunks r very small we bought a new Pete in 08 and plastic door handles broke in 3weeks then electric mirror quit they would not fix it and wanted 800.00 dollars for mirror next was turbo went along with whole exhaust system 25000.00 it could not take out big loads and heat in mountains and took a month to get all parts that did it for me and Peterbilt 😢😢😢😢😢

Live the truck but kenworth is dropping the ball. That design of the studio is the same as it ever was. The damn vovlo has a better setup with a table with bench seating that turns into a bed and much much bigger fridge. Much better use of space
