As you can tell by my avatar i am a bit biased, but a 1100kg 630hp naturally aspirated supercar with luggage space and seats for 3 that is still the fastest NA production car and won Le Mans it its first try even against higher class opponents? nothing even comes close, supercars are on average 1500+ kg pigs with no space at all and huge for the sake of being huge with no space for a toothbrush, quite silly really, nothing combines the qualities of an F1 in such a convincing way
its a fantastic car with some great history.. overall I'm surprised its not sold as yet.. "unless ppl are scared due to covid" my only question or suspicion would involve fuel being ruled out in a number of years, making way for electric/hybrid "ECO" cars, as with current fuels we've already seen stories in recent weeks stating that classic cars would be effected with a current fuel being made & put into production already, then looking back how unleaded fuel you've to add additives &/or have expensive engine mods to allow the car to use current fuels.
Ok if you had to choose between an F1 LONG TAIL or a P1 GTR to track for a day, at any track in the world, which would you choose and what track would you go?
This, the CLK GTR, and the 911 GT1 are the 3 greatest automobiles ever to be produced... just magnificent!
Yes sir
Forgot the Mustang
@@Mduffey22 Mustang 😂 Yeah, right.
@@aviationlba747 the Mustang is a AMAZING car
@@Mduffey22 It is great car, but shouldn’t be compared with THE greatest supercars of all time...
The McLaren F1 is a different level just as Tom says himself...superb stuff again chaps
Fantastic - could listen to Tom all day long. Such a down to earth chap with such great knowledge and wonderful war stories!
How isn’t this going to be the best watch of Sunday. Thanks for content.
I find everything about the F1 fascinating so this video was very enjoyable. Thank you.
Love hearing these stories thanks for sharing.
This video/documentary is complete gold
beautiful video - learned a lot :D
I do like the F1 content i take it all with a grain of salt. The worshipping of the F1 is off the charts always

Any follow up video? Has this car sold?
If i had 15 million i'd buy it and drive it
Ok Tom, you've sold me on the car, cheque is in the post.
He looks like a Poundland Quentin Wilson
I got the same model f1 gtr ... but different color...its white ... i daily drive my f1 gtr.. its ok i guess,.. just a good car to drive
Fine, I’ll take it.
I hope he has a T.50 on order.
imagine being stuck in a lift with this guy
The Holy Grail
I can’t cope with how Tom pronounces ‘PROTOtype’ or ‘new’
People getting excited about a McLaren F1 that's never been driven is so sad.
別吹了,別吹了,我現在就下樓買大樂透還不行嗎。
Carl’s stories are way better to watch
They are both brilliant to watch and both offer different things to different people! Great video thank you SCD and THJ!
