WE finally finished the boat in October last year but it was just too late to christen her with wind and colder weather nigh. We will be launching her with a stock 283 Chevy in a month or so. Beautiful boat but why the music? I would have enjoyed hearing the engine sound rather than somebody singing over it. Just my opinion but, the boat is a beauty.👍👍
@@walthammond6816 , that really puts the icing on the cake. Bad enough that they play the music but then they assault our ears with an out of tune guitar. This is unacceptable.😮
I am considering buying this plan set. Did you make it longer than the 15' the plans are designed for? How does it handle? Will it pull a couple kids on an intertube or a water skier?
Yep I built a barrel back on it giving me an extra few inches this allowed me to have an inboard rudder instead of having it hanging on the transom. Handles great with the trim tabs and a v8 will have no problem pulling the arms off the kids :)

How did you add a barrel back? I have built several wood kayaks and canoes, but this will be my first big boat.
