I'm an American who has been there twice, and love Belfast. This video did not do it justice. They definitely should have spotlighted the Titanic Museum, St. George's Market, pubs, C.S.Lewis connections, and the wonderful Victorian and Edwardian architecture.
I love this town so much. I saw: Sct. Georges Market in the weekend, The Titanic Museum and took a walk at the: walking tour of Titanic - to get and idea how huge the ship really was. I visit Belfast Castle - were I eat my lunch and have a great view over the city. I got on the Hopp on, Hopp Off bus to see the: crumlin Road Prison. From the Crumlin Road Prison - I visit Shankill and Fall road with a Black cap - to see some history of the city. The town have many great places to eat. I spend my vacation at an Bed and Breakfast clouse to the Ulster Museum and Botanic Garden. It a so many nice streets, shops..... I also sat in the mayors chair in the city Hall and saw the memorial place of Titanic. I just love the city - it's quiet, friendly and so much to see.
I've been to Belfast, Northern Ireland (known as the North as I refer to) about several times and it's an amazing city. I've visited few places in Belfast such as the art museum (I forget the name) and Titanic Museum. Titanic Museum is absolutely brilliant and it was my first time to visit that museum in late July 2013. I just love it there. It's probably one of the best museums in Ireland. I'd like to visit Titanic Museum again someday. I am a visitor from Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪.
Untuk warga Belfast, salam kenal dan salam hangat dari saya, salah seorang warga Indonesia. Saya senang melihat video ini, saya jadi lebih mengetahui dan mengenal kota Belfast. Terimakasih.
My wife applied for a job in Belfast recently and one of the application questions was whether she's Catholic or Protestant. There wasn't an option to choose neither! Is that still a thing there?
@@PaperBrainZombie just go to shankill, there are literally union jacks on bunting up the whole entire street, and pro unionist/anti republican murals, posters etc...
Wow this desperately needs updated as so much has been done to Belfast since this. The worst of the paramilitary murals are gone and replaced with great street art, Titanic [Voted 2017 world number one tourist attraction] has been built, SSE arena wasn't featured in the film, nor any of the great bars and restaurants of cathedral quarter, they did no filming down along the Lagan walk with the fantastic apartments [that can be rented by visitors] available to stay in. No description of the city as a gateway to a wider Northern Ireland experience [after all, the original film here showed scenes from Derry/Londonderry] The Fantastic Antrim Coast drive [a must for GOT fans], The Giant's Causeway and indeed the walls of Derry/Londonderry, The fishing villages of the county Down coast, The Enniskillen Lakeland, the watersports of Portrush or Ards Penninsula, Carrick Castle, Dunluce Castle, Cavehill Country Park and Belfast Zoo, where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea, The splendour of Mountstewart House..... C'mon Expedia. You can do better than just repeatedly showing scenes of Queen's University, Stormont and the big wheel that isn't there any more. If yer gonna showcase Belfast [or better still Northern Ireland] do it justice.
Bernard Troy they are there from the days when paramilitaries would show what group ran that area etc. Most have been replaced with murals of the country’s history and lore etc
There’s stuff in this video that’s from Derry, specifically from the free Derry museum. Along with the murals on the walls in the bogside. Poor research and use of promotion lads considering Derry is over an hour away.

To the plebs who have responded: there is a difference between an accent and being wrong. Is he talking about painted walls, or a plurality of women called Muriel?
+lildecable whys that Belfast is in Northern Ireland because its part of the UK, and the wishes of the people of Northern Ireland is to be part of the United Kingdom, it is contained within a document called the good friday agreement which states that the NI is part of the UK based on the consent of the people and that is why NI is part of the UK because the people there want it to be so
P S UK has no right to Irish land, Belfast is in British occupied Ireland. There is no justification nor any other way of putting it, it's a military occupation of Ireland's soverignty

I'm surprised they didn't show off Titanic Belfast. It's quite a striking building, if nothing else.

Can’t believe he actually said Muriels.
My comment is could do better. Where was the Botanic Gardens and the Titanic Quarter and the beautiful City Hall? Very poor.
Tell the SOA Belfast chapter I said hi.
Nothing worse than an intimidating Muriel. My great aunt was intense to put it mildly.
Can you do the IRA tour ?
Whenever I come to Ireland for Dublin, I need to remember to stay for Belfast. This video could use more dialogue to explain the sites though.
Should really be focusing more on the growing street art scene, instead of the murals which are slowly being reimaged
