Liverpool gets better every year. With more redevelopment in the city, it is an ever changing place and for the better. This video is 5 years old. A lot of new buildings and architecture have been developed since then. Its definitely an up and coming city. It looks fantastic
It does get better every year from what I’ve seen. Manny (Manchester) has its perks but without the unique history that Liverpool and London have. It’s good for a trip to Selfridges/MediaCity/Salford Quays (etc.) but I’m not a Manny person. Haven’t really been since 2003.

I loved Liverpool! Saw quickly with my parents in '73 then showed in detail to my kids in 2017. Enjoyed every second of my 2 days there - all the Beatles' homes, The Beatles Story, Albert Docks, Cavern Club, the Universities, Anfield, Goodison Park, both Cathedrals, etc.. Need to visit again - once I can get out of California again.
I am an 11 year old and I went on a tour of this city. It was so diverse. I support Liverpool just because of the Beatles. I was so happy to go on the tour
I am in liverpool, I was at the tate art museum, slavery museum, alberts dock, took some photos, got lost in a park but we made it, took a picture at the radio city tower etc
Just came back from a trip around the UK including Liverpool. On the train to Penrith met a lovely woman who lives just across the river from Liverpool and we talked all the way to Penrith! And in another instance, but this time in Manchester, one of the cab drivers saw me taking a picture of his cab and offered me to take his seat behind the wheel and take a picture of me! So yeah, people are lovely there :)
The Albert dock at night time is very beautiful with its bars and restaurants etc. Across the way is the city center with its amazing nightlife, pubs, hotels, shops, restaurants etc. Always have a great time here so much to see and do.

I took a party of 10 Californian senior citizens around the UK for 14 days. Their last 2 days were in Liverpool and included a meal in a restaurant on a Saturday night, overlooking Mathew Street. At the end of their stay, I asked them which was their favourite place. Their decision was unanimous - LIVERPOOL. They were obviously wealthy because when I asked their organiser what price hotel I should book them into, she replied ‘Any price you like - they can afford it!’. I booked them into the Atlantic Tower Hotel with a river view and on the floor level to the bells of St Nicholas Church for the 11 am Sunday Morning bell ringing recital ( Best peal of bells in the world) They loved Liverpool. I booked them into the Adelphi Hotel function room for lunch, which was formerly the US Navy Officers’s Club in WW2. One of my guests was US Navy escort sailor during the war.

You should come live here because it is the city full of Tesco’s and Liverpool 1 is the towns name and town is really fun here! Don’t go to Leads or Hamburg or New Brighten! Come here! It’s full of cafes too.

This is a good representation of Liverpool, probably the UK's best vuctorian city...but there are some amazing architecture just walking around the streets that should have been explored more. Worlds biggest docks..some of the best pub interiors..worlds first skyscraper..mersey tunnel..worlds oldest train station..first train intercity journey in the world. St. Georges hall is very impressive both inside and out. A sunny day always helps. Liverpools has more myseums ans statues..apart from London in the UK so plenty of things to see..if your a Harry Potter fan..visit the Picton Library in William Brown st.in the city centre.

You can take Midland trains which are slower than Virgin but are less expensive but the journey is interesting and takes around 4.5 hours..
