People tend to meet their partners either at work, or through mutual friends, so you slip into relationships naturally. You already know eachother, so there's no real 'dating'. You'll simply 'go out', hang out, and let what will happen, happen. Scots are like people from anywhere else in the world. Some are upfront, some are shy, some are bold, some are reserved. Some of us have the patter, some don't. Women are Women the world over. Again, some are straight forward, but many like playing games, then some are just straight up teases. In short, 'dating' in Scotland is just like dating anywhere.
Met some Scott girls abroad 4 years back. They were so chill and fun to drink with! The fake tan though made me laugh... definitely I would like to visit Scotland

There's a reason the roman's never took the picts. Combine that with Irish and Viking dna and you get a Scot (and with some, a sprinkling of English or Welsh dna too).
I'm a Canadian, over 40, who spends time in Scotland. Maybe it's the age thing (or just me!) but I have found the men expect the woman to pay for everything, they are very critical of appearance (but not their own), and God forbid you invite one to your country where pot is more freely available- they go nuts. Men in Canada have lost a lot of chivalry but nothing like the Scots. I almost wonder if there was a generation that was overly spoiled by their mothers. As much as I love Scotland, I am now spending more time in Turkey.....
I would love to go on date a with a Scottish men but I don’t drink alcohol but I really love the Scottish and their accents, plus their personality. So that kinda downer plus I’m more introverted and shy.
See being honest. The impression these three give is false. We're just like people from any other nation. Some of us are shy, some more extrovert. Some of us need a drink to loosen off, some don't. I also have a masters degree and a full time job, and now as I progress in my career and have to do everything around the house while trying to be successful, I've realised why my parents told me to let men pay. Women do bloody everything no matter how much men think theycontribute. Imagine being a breadwinner AND cook, clean and raise children. Women still get screwed over in many areas of life, so yeah, I happily let men pay
