I recently saw a video where it was pointed out that if LN2 was a coop game, the betrayal wouldn't have caused the audience to react to it in the same way they had. You would rather ask your friend if they missed pressing a button and the ending would rather cause confusion than shock. LN3 is a coop game as far as I know and I think it wouldn't make sense to make them betray one another from a gameplay perspective, nor do I think they will work against each other at any point in the game. So we either have our first happy ending in the LN universe or we're gonna see one or even both of them die. I also want to add that with the whole traveling through mirrors thing, that we've seen in the trailers, it could be that at the end they might just be separated, with one being trapped in the mirror world or maybe even getting out of the nowhere for good, while the other is left behind by accident.
Definitely. Alone and Low seem to like each other more and seem more bonded. Other than Mono and Six. Where there was a bad gap between the "friendship".
Theyre not gonna do the same ending twice, and they won't drop a second thin man on us with Low. I do like the theory of Alone being schizophrenic and Low was dead all along. Because of their names.
