Your closing will be near the baseball field because grandpa is saying no matter where you live he will be there - he's passing the torch, it's your turn to be the grandparent - to talk with your grandchildren and to let them know that one day they can be anything they aspire to, so long as they don't give up 👍👏😊it's funny how life works! Wonderful experiences are ahead 💕 Blessings
Thank you so much for these beautiful words, Andrea...it's such an emotional time and I feel such joy and peace....A Very Happy easter to you! xo Susan & Desi
Susan always a joy each week to listen to your Reflections, so love your story of your time with Your Grandfather. Yes I do relate to moving on to new beginnings, My dear husband of 51 yrs passed in 2016, Toronto I decided to retire to Vancouver, best decision As now my life is so wonderful , mostly because I am of Irish birth, so here out West ,living in a Small nautical village 30mins south of The Airport Is so very similar to my life on The Irish Coastal town Of Bangor Co.Down Ps iat age 14yrs and a schoolgirl, it was time to have a Bra As a very shy girl, I wandered into Woolworth's wooden floors Back then in Belfast, wandered to the To the Bra counter, all led out in rows.myself kept looking Around , then waiting for some customers to leave. In Navajo, there is no word for good bye....it's, "until later!" We said later to a town we lived in in Arizona, for 16 years. My eldest son still lives there with his bride. We still consider that town our home and friends we made are still friends.
10 years ago I was 68 years old. My husband I made the decision to leave our home in West Virginia and move to Azle, Texas. We had lived in WV our entire lives. My daughter was in TX. My husband was not well and he passed away after only 15 months in Texas. It was very hard leaving my friends and family in WV and it took me about 2 years to❤ find my people here❤ I volunteered at the local animal shelter. But that wasn't my people. I finally joined a Red Hatters group, made a few friends there but joined another group and there were my people. Out of that group 6 of use are real friends and we are from all over the country. Massachusetts, Arizona, Iowa, and of course Tx. SO all that to say this. It was the best move I could have made, I have my daughter, son and grandkids close. We each live our separate lives, but always check on each other and come together quite often. Loving and living my best life. God bless and enjoy the new adventure.
Your grandfather saw you as a person, who you were and he imparted his best knowledge to his favorite person. He wanted you to have a good life. ❤ You were a lucky little girl
Susan, this video couldn't have come at a better time, I just lost my mother three weeks ago and the story of your Grandfather really hit home. I felt the same way when I saw my Italian Mama, she was at peace with God.. Also , that same week, my daughter, who has been living and working in California and has been trying to transfer within her company to move over to an area nearer to me on the East Coat, got the transfer, so she's bringing her family and my two small Grandchildren to live near me, the timing could not have been better. I need them, I just lost my best friend, my Mom, who was a young mother so I got to spend 62 years with her and now that Goodbye will turn into a Hello with my new life with them.
It’s my belief that our very loving Father had a hand in getting your daughter’s transfer approved. I’m sorry you had to say goodbye to your mom. I had to do the same. But I’m very happy that your daughter and grandchildren will live much closer to you.
Congratulations on your new home Susan ! I know how it is to say goodbye to a place or to people and friends, that you’ve known a long time! I hope your Dear Friend Hal will be able to visit you. Does he live close by you where you’re living now? he’s sure going to miss you and Desi. well Susan, I wish you and cutie pie Desi, Good luck and Godspeed.!❤❤️🙏🙏
@@SB-kg2is I did have a really good one we were work friends but then I retired. And it was hard for her to keep up the friendship I guess. But I think of her everyday, and I'm thankful that we had those years together.
Susan, it’s hard to leave “home”, but you will have so much joy being there with family. I’m 58, and 10 years ago I moved 1.5 hours north of where I had live 48 years. I’m still trying to find things around, but it’s good. It was very uncomfortable at first, but now-this is home. Your new house has so much character and you are going to have so much fun making it “home”.
Goodbye to one house and hello to a new house and new beginnings, new street, new part of town and new neighbors and neighborhood!!! 🥰👵🏽🙏🏾 Blessings to you and Desi and Happy resurrection Day, for He lives!! tfs
Susan can’t wait to see Desi running free in his own backyard! You don’t have to say goodbye, just say “I’ll see you later” as I did when my husband drew his last breath on earth. I hope Hal will continue to be a part of your life. He appears to be a special part of your life. Love to you, Desi and Hal❤️❤️❤️
A good friend once said, and this is a quote from his grandmother. “Life is about losing things” …losing your 2 front teeth, saying goodbye to a friend moving away, losing a boyfriend or a good friend to an accident in high school and finally losing a spouse. There are many seasons in life.
At 75 it still amazes me that when someone passes you can tell they are not there. Their soul has gone to the Father. It is wonderful thing to know they are not in pain or suffering. They are gone but never forgotten if loved. And the great thing is we will see them again. This was lovely. Thank you for the best video you have done.
I love Desi in his little pink bow! Ya' know what? Desi had to say good bye to his old life! Look at how fantastic his adventure is with his mom! He had no idea the joy of love, hugs, and kisses - along with wonderful treats, a soft bed, and fun walks! You and Desi have so much to look forward to - a new beautiful adventure awaits you! This is the joy of life, is it not?? With a love of Christ all things are possible - the old self dies continually, and the new self gets renewed in Him everyday!! Enjoy the joy of this new adventure and let Hal lift the heavy boxes!! Hugs!!
Susan, you are entering a new chapter in your life and it’s an amazing one at that. You will make new friends and fall in love with your new town. I am so happy for you and Desi and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for you two. Love to you and Desi ❤
I have said goodbye to my mom,my two aunts and my sister all within the last ten years. It is comforting to know they are with the Lord and this is only a temporary goodbye and I will be with them. My heart warmed when you said that you were signing the papers right across the street from the Field of dreams you and your grandpa used to walk through. That was a gift from God to remind you of your grandpa telling you not to give up on your dreams and now here you are finally moving into your new home by your children and your grandchildren! Many blessings to you and Desi on your next chapter in life 🙏
I’ve been a subscriber for 5 months & just love your channel. Your so uplifting❤️. 17 years ago I said goodbye to dealing with a verbally & emotionally abusive husband by drinking & becoming reclusive. I rose up, found my voice again & said hello to the rest of my life. This new chapter in your life is going to be fabulous & I can’t wait to see your & Desi’s new home. Thank you Susan for the beautiful heartfelt videos❤️
I said goodbye two years ago to a beach location and returned to the main city. My best friend was caring for his dying mother and my older brother was aging fast and alone. To be here with and for them has been true loving purpose. My little Xiaoy and I have fami.y now. That goodbye brought me home.
We were military and we said lots of goodbyes and hello to new locations/adventures. I have been blessed to have been able to revisit many locations from my past childhood and adult life. I have a belief that goodbye is closing a chapter but not ending the memories. My heart holds them close. I look at the closing being across from the ball field is saying it is okay and time to move to your next adventure. Your count down is underway - you have a week - hold your memories fondly and lovingly. Have a great week.
What beautiful memories of your grandfather. God is bringing you into a new season and you will take all of the precious memories from your present city to your new city and your new lovely home and you will begin to make new memories. I’m looking forward to seeing videos of your new home with Desi and watch you transform it into your own. Many beautiful moments are ahead! Thanks for sharing.💐
When you said the closing is going to be right next to the field your grandfather loved so much, I took that as a sign that he's with you and telling you that you've done well and this is the right move for you. I belive the universe gives us signs and that this is one. ❤🙏🤗
Dear Susy, I know how you feel, I left Miami in November to move to another state. The moved was terrible ! After living there since 1965 , I had to say good bye to all my friends , family, only house I knew since I got married. It's been 7 months now and still I have not gotten used to my new place. I am closer to my husband's family and they are wonderful, but I find myself feeling like my body is here but my mind is back in Miami. Everything is so different here. So, I'll be praying for you to make a smooth transition into your new home, and will be watching you decorate your new home. I am still trying to get mine organized. So proud of your acomplishments. Best of luck and blessings. I will be watching you. ❤️.
Oh Susan, what an emotional video. I was in tears when you were describing where you will sign the closing papers on your house. It's not merely a coincidence, he told you never give up...and you didn't. You saved, and now you get to start a new chapter of your life in your new little house.
My beloved father "Des" who was a door to door mailman for 32 years lived with only me one of his four children before his passing at 89.. What a treasured gift that he picked me to live with during his final years. Those glorious years made me feel like an "only" child. Our conversations were so wonderful. He learned all about me and I learned all about him. Treasured times I will never forget. Best of good times with your new house adventure. You too are a true treasure to all of us. Happy Easter. Sincerely, Debbie and Dexter-Dog my sweet silly rescued tiny Chihuahua companion living a quiet crafty great grandma life in southern California. 💞🏠🏠🐾🐾👍👍🙏🙏🇺🇸✝️
I loved the story of your grandfather and how you felt peace inside! How it help you believe in the Lord. Beautiful story ❤ I love that your grandfather was a believer! Praise You Jesus for bringing us to You, in complete belief that You are God. Amen 🙏 yes I am a believer ❤
I can resonate so many of your feelings . I was a tomboy and could out run my whole class, picture in baseball and climbed trees singing " Zippity-DoDa " . You show soo much love for your grandpa and it's sweet/sad , just remember that he wasn't in that casket but in your heart . Take some dirt from the ball diamond field and maybe something there that you hold dear and put it in your new home. In a frame or vase or whatever you want. God bless you and taking us on all your journeys in life . Yes, there are a lot of good-byes in life but the new will someday be another cherished place with lovely memories that we hang onto . So glad you will be with your family , that's a true blessing ! Happy Easter to you ...
2 yrs ago..I said goodbye to my hometown of 74 years and moved two and a half hours NW to be close to my son and his family. I have never regretted it.. I have great neighbors and have made alot of new friends.
Great video!!!You are going to be okay!!!You will be making new memories!!!! I’m 72 and recently I moved to my own home from a house I had rented for 15 years and I said to my son,it’s going to be sad when I move out of our house with so many memories of the grandchildren and everyone and he said you will make NEW memories!!!Bless you!!!
Susan, my grandfather raised me also. He taught me the value of hard work and protecting your family. I went through a really hard time just after he died, even considered death for me as well. One night as I lay crying in my bed, he was suddenly there sitting on the side of the bed, I could feel not only his love but actually smell his pipe smoke!! His message…never give up. That’s been decades ago and I know he is still with me as is the Lord. I’ve had to say goodby so many times in my 74 year life and it seems that each time it is growth and opportunity. I am so happy that you are getting your house. I had to say goodbye to Colorado and moved to the coast of NC but just LOVE it and have more friends than ever in the past. I’m so looking forward to seeing your new home and enjoying putting it together with you. Happy and Blessed Easter
Oh Ann....I am so happy to see you...you have always been with me so kind and so supportive....saying good-bye to Colorado must have been so tough....but you thrived!! I am excited to start hanging the new curtains!!!! And new flowers for a backyard I have dreamed of for over a decade.....
Oh my, dear Susan! I have a huge lump in my throat, and tears of happiness with you! I absolutely LOVE your story of saying “Hello” to God🥰 and as just a little girl knowing the peace of God with you❣️ 14:59 Thank you for sharing this more than anything you’ve ever shared! I can not believe how this video came through precisely as I finished an amazing book about goodbyes written by Luda Terqeurst! I had just closed the book and you sealed it to my heart ❤️ I’ve had so many hard good byes as well as a few good ones. She told the word goodbye is a strange one as goodbyes are usually difficult. She explained it is actually a contraction of “God be with ye”! I love that, don’t you? Thank you again, dear Susan!! And have a very Happy Easter ❤ I send you lots of love, Toni
Oh dear, I am crying reading your words!!! You have always been in my corner and cheering me on...I just adore you so much! A very Happy Easter Toni....-
Sometimes, and I always believed in this, our loved ones whom passed on will show us a 'Sign' that they are still around us. They show us things only we know or would understand the meaning of that 'Sign'. So yes, your loving Nonno did send you a 'Sign' to tell you he approves of your more. He's letting you know it's good to be near your grandchildren, and share the same love with them as you had with him. Take that 'Sign' from your Nonno as his blessings into your new home..Susan, I wish you a Happy Easter, God Bless you.
I was fortunate that my parents let me know that I could do and be anything in this life. I was born in 1954. My parents were ahead of their time. I was also surrounded by my friends whose parents had the same beliefs. Lucky little girl I was who worked on cars with my Dad and baked cakes with my Mom as my older brother did. Still working as a biochemist at 69 and taking care of my own home. Thanks Mom and Dad for your values. Susan we are very fortunate to have had people who believed in us.
This was a sad but happy video. I also went through this ten years ago when we moved from our home of 39 years and the area that I grew up in, to a place two hours north. away from friends and family. My husband wanted to retire by a lake which we did, but then he passed away six months later. So I was left in an area were I had to make new friends and get used to new surroundings. But I've made new friends, and I love my new surroundings.
Oh sweet Susan, thank you for sharing your memories of your grandfather. What a wonderful time you had with him. Now it is your turn to make wonderful memories with your grandchildren. Just as you remember your grandfather, your grandchildren will remember you. I'm so happy for you. God Bless
Your videos always leave me with something to thing about. My cousin and his wife are dear friends. Growing up, they'd always be at my home on Friday night for coffee with my parents.. Over the years my relationship with them has frown...they truly are dear to me. When they retired, they decided to sell their home (5minutes away from mine) to move closer to their kids/grandkids. I was devastated...if they left I'd have no family left around me. I was so sad I couldn't bear visiting their home...the home that held so many memories. I had to move past this. So, I wrote a goodbye letter to their house...thanking it for being such a good protector and host to so many important events. The biths, the deaths, the anniversaries and graduations, the long chats about life, love, reconciliation... It was a love letter to a place that held precious memries. The hello to their new home was difficult at first, but, we have all adjusted and creating new memories.
I take that as a sign to a happy beginning from your grandfather! Your dream finally came to fruition and he’s giving you his blessings! You see he’s never left you. I wish you and Desi the happiest of times in your new home!😘❤🙏🏻✨
Dear beautiful Susan, First of all, I am so happy for you in seeing your dream of owning a home come true! I just turned 66 and have for the last few years a rumbling in my soul to make a big change in my life. It's not that I dream for a better life, but to live a different life. I am in the last quarter of my years, and I have been here in the mountains of southern California for 40 years. My interior design business has been my work for just as long and even though I have been blessed to love my work, I feel that I need a change to go back into my one of my great passions of returning to the world of antiquities and obtain my appraisers' license. I also have had this burning desire to go back and live my remaining years in England as I am a British citizen and I want to be closer to my family. One may ask so why haven't I made the leap? It isn't as much of facing the unknown or change, but the fear of failure that paralyzes me . At my age, it isn't like I can start all over again. And yet, I think of my friend who moved to France at 75 not knowing the language and never regretting it! And too, I think of you and how brave you are leaving all that you have known and loved to dare to dream of a different life! God bless and and keep you. Give Desi a sweet kiss upon his furred head for me!
That little fellow of yours is the sweetest and loving little thing I ever seen. He takes after his mommy for sure. I always try to creep in and take a peek at your videos! Very inspirational videos as I am fighting cancer now at 75, but there is always a new tomorrow and people like you to make the day fun and interesting......bless you yet, in another new adventure in your life~
You are so kind and it means so much you are here and left such a beautiful comment! Thank you so much and I hope you have a wonderful week! xxoo Love always, Susan & Desi
I’m so sorry to hear about Your Diagnosis, I will tell You that there’s a Tea called Essiac Tea 🍵 and it cures Cancer ♋️ it literally destroys Tumors ! I’ll keep you in My Prayers 🙏❣️
Loved having coffee this morning with you, and The Dez! I am so excited for you that I am just over the moon happy. I have a feeling you'll be back to beautiful Grand Rapids, and the Field of Dreams! I know you had a very blessed, and Happy Easter. God is so Good!! I know your Grandfather is smiling down at you Susie. Love you, and Backyard Desi...Mimi
Susan, it's🌅 Easter -- a time of new beginnings. As the Irish blessing says: MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU MAY THE WIND ALWAYS BE AT YOUR BACK MAY THE ☀️ SHINE ON YOUR FACE. May the rain fall softly upon your field And until we meet again May the Lord hold you safely in the 🤌palm of his Hand 🧚
Happy Easter Susan and Desi, I loved that as you said goodbye to your Grand Father you said hello to our Saviour gave me goosebumps I love hearing how GOD draws other’s into HIS presence . GOD bless you 🙏🏻💕 I be praying for safe packing and moving for you . Look forward to seeing you next week. 💕
I said good bye to the country i gave my best years to....and moved to Spain...my family and friends moved on and i had to too...its been 2 months and have started to make new friends and am loving the weather. So one chapter ends and a new one begins...🥂 here's to a new biginning filled with new adventures 🥂
You bring such joy each week. Why is it that every week, your message hits home? In 1984 I reacquainted with a high school friend after not seeing him for 18 years. We fell in love. Marriage would meaning leaving family, friends, a church community and a teaching job in a community I loved. That was my whole life! But marry we did! I moved to another state to be with him far from what I had ever known. Many thought I was foolish to give up so much to embark on the unknown. Yet after 38 years of marriage, I declare that he is a princely man, well worth the risk. Never in my wildest dream, just one year before seeing him again, did I imagine such a worthy a transition. Risking meant loss, but the gain was stronger than the loss.
Oh Susan, this video is so special. It brought me to tears, as I remembered the day I said goodbye to my wonderful Mother as she took her last breath. As she took her last breath her facial expression changed and I knew her soul and spirit was with Jesus. I knew then I would not have to say goodbye to her and that before long I would see her again. Thank you Susan❤
Oh what a beautiful story of saying goodbye to your Mother....that feeling is so powerful when you know they are gone...but still there in spirit! Thank you so much for telling me this....xxoo
Hal has an answer for everything 😊 hunting dog.... I'm happy for you that the place where you're signing papers for your new beginning is linked to Grandpa. That's no coincidence. I'm happy for you that you've come so far, since those bleak days at the start of your TH-cam. God bless xx
I just love Hal’s sense of humour- he’s a treasure, such a memorable video Susan, good luck with the move and looking forward to seeing your new home and surrounding area, love to Desi❤
Susan, goodbyes are never easy, especially if you have lived in one place for a long time and have familial memories attached❤ How far away are you moving? You and Desi will have family close and maybe that will keep your mind off leaving a place you love and are familiar with. Just picture Desi running around in his new backyard ❤❤🐾🐾
Thank you for the beautiful story of your grandfather. You are beginning a new chapter in your life, and I'm excited for you and Desi. Happy Easter Susan. ❤
When my last child left home ( we have 5) I said hello to my hubby. Empty nesting is actually kinda fun! We go out in dates more, watch mindless TV shows just because without interruptions…. We miss our kids, but it’s like we are dating again. It is good!
Susan, In my mind I see you as a woman of great wealth. You have been blessed with people, opportunities, talent, and the most perfect dog with the most imperfect teeth! I’ve followed you for a few years and have always admired your ability to stand up to opposition with grace. I believe in God and recognize that you do too. It is undoubtedly “Divine Intervention” that you are realizing in the alignment of a home to move to, your son’s open arms, and going to settlement across from the “field of dreams.” You have accomplished so much! I’ll never forget the time you said you didn’t know how to work a camera when you bought your first one!😅 You’re right Susan, you are Movin On Up !!! Go in peace and love.
Oh Susan you had me in tears telling us where the closing of your home is going to be, that is a sign from your grandfather, your guardian Angel, you were suppose to be doing this, I truly believe that. I know Hal is going to be sad seeing you go, hope it’s not too far for him to visit you, if he has no family he should move there too. Can’t wait to see our Desi in his own backyard, no leash needed to be in his backyard. Safe travels🙏🏻🙏🏻🐾🐾❤️❤️
I lost my Daddy at just before 11 yrs. and it was devastating. I’m 60 now, but I’ll never forget how after his funeral, people were eating and visiting and I was angry. I couldn’t understand how they could eat when my Dad was dead. To this day I hate funerals and I’ve only been to just a few, one being my Moms which was in 2011.
K J, I can relate to your message so keenly! I remember first my Dad, then my Mom and then my only sibling sister, whom I adored predeceasing me before I was 40. I remember feeling angry at how the world just “went on as usual” when I was crushed, devastated and in deepest despair! It seemed cruel and unfair and frankly, made me feel more alone/lonely. Then came the realization that everyone has these seasons to go through; it just wasn’t their time, or they have already had their turn at desolation and brokenness. Life can be so darned difficult, but we’re all in it together, for better or worse, kinda like marriage!! 😂
I empathise with how you must've felt as an 11 year old losing your Daddy. I thought it was offensive when people were eating after the funeral of my best friend's father at 14. I've learned that it's a social convention after funerals.
Your Grandfathers spirit had gone to God. I lost my Grandfather at 13. I missed his laughter his stories and jokes, his playing his fiddle, harmonica and organ. I felt his absense when I visited my Grandmothers house.
I am having to say goodbye to my beautiful Florida paradise to go back home to be with my wonderful family. It is hard but the trade off I believe will be more love and excitement than I’ve e 15:52 ever known. Cry grieve or whatever you need to do, then embrace the new life and blessings that are coming. I am with you on this goodbye chapter at 70. It will be amazing ❤
I moved Oct, 1, 2021 from living 47 years in one County. I was 73 then and needed to be closer my daughter and her family. You can and you will. There will be an adjustment, but you will be fine. God Bless you.
I'm 57 years old and in two weeks I will move in to a cute little home that will, for the first time in my life, be entirely my own. I am so nervous as it is in a new town, 1500km away from the city that has been my home for 25 years. Your reflections have helped me to accept the change with hope for the future and I'm ever so grateful for the timing of your message. It is one sign, of I'm sure many more to come, that I am on the right path. Your words and attitude are true gifts in this uncertain time for me. Thank you, and all blessings to you!
Your words tocuh my heart becasue I was scared just like you! There were some days I would wake up and just feel I wanted to run! But everything went so smoothly! Nothing went wrong...nothing...and after my move was all over here I was in a little house by my family...and I thanked God I made it...I asked myself, is htis Heaven? And I heard a voice " No....it's Big Rapids" !!!!! Welcome! I am sending love and prayers your way!!! xo Susan & Desi
@@LittlePoet It's 3 months on and that's a quarter of a year! It's been a time of newness and learning all over again at this age. Hesitancy has truly and authentically been replaced by hopefulness, so I thank you for your prayers and your example, both of which are powerful and so full of magic 🌈 💕(the big heart is for you, and the little one is, of course, for Desi)
Said goodbye to my hometown after my divorce, but I made a new life not too far. It seemed like a world away, but that new world brought growth and contentment. Embrace your new world. Happy Easter ❤
You are so beautiful inside and out. I love listening to your kind and gentle voice. I am 71 and you really keep me focused on what is really important. Thank you for all you do for us ladies over 65.
I also had a loving and treasured grandfather. He was very witty but, a quiet man. He too loved the Lord and I know we will see each other again! He made me homemade ice cream and always called me “kitten.” Thank you for this lovely memory! Happy Easter! 💌
Not sure why this came to my mind just this minute... but... "Hello, hello.... I don't know why you say goodby, I say hello". Adore this video Susan... my heart is moved so many times throughout the vlogs you share. Happy, Blessed and PEACEFUL Easter to you and Desi!! Love you so much. Hugs, Penny Sue
You were so lucky to have had your Grandfather for 10 years. You do realize he is going with you, right? That wonderful part of him is also the wonderful part of you, too. Your new home is so lovely! I can't wait to see how you decorate it. Did you ever wonder why they say you are "closing" on your new home? They should call it "opening" on it. 🙂 Have a wonderful Easter and give Desi a hug from me, will you? xoxo Sandie
I had the exact same experience when my father died when I was 9. I never thought he was dead, only different. I knew at that moment I could still talk to him. I also never cried and didn't understand why I didn't then. But now I know, like you, it's because his soul was not there but elsewhere. His death opened new doors, we moved to places with different experiences I wouldn't have had otherwise. If I think about it enough, I still cry at his passing even though that was 50 years ago.
Goodbye to Grand Rapids and Hello to your new beginning! It is SO EXCITING! 😀 I moved away from my beautiful California at age 50, to finally begin my Northwest dream! I began a new life, near Seattle when a strange turn of events in life made it easier to go begin anew. For nearly 10 years, I have built a life here, and I love it! Amazing, because I never could imagine really moving away from my home. I did it! I am SO thankful for that new beginning, and I bet that you and Desi will transition into what you have been dreaming of and working for! ENJOY every minute Susan...all of us are cheering you on. ❤

Absolutely 💯
Not goodbye . HELLO
That was just lovely ❤️ and so is Hal he makes me chuckle! Goodbye us such a final word, change it to See You Later and it sounds so much better 🌈
Beautiful story of faith. Your grandfather was surely smiling in heaven. And I bet God laughed. ❤
Goodbye Grandfather, Hello God ❤ what a beautiful thought!
How wonderful❤
Try to remember how happy your sweet pup will be when he can run in his yard. A dogs DREAM!
Your grandfather saw you as a person, who you were and he imparted his best knowledge to his favorite person. He wanted you to have a good life. ❤ You were a lucky little girl
I agree with you...I was very lucky..he was such a great man...
I am so sorry for your loss...and so grateful you come here tonight and share your life...xxoo Susan & Desi
@@LittlePoet Thank you and I really wish you and Desi the best with your move
It’s my belief that our very loving Father had a hand in getting your daughter’s transfer approved. I’m sorry you had to say goodbye to your mom. I had to do the same. But I’m very happy that your daughter and grandchildren will live much closer to you.
What a blessing! Being near family is everything. My mother too, at peace with God. Another blessing and hope.
Not having good friends, I can only imagine. Its a treasure to have one!
I could only imagine what it would be like. You aren’t alone.
@@SB-kg2is I did have a really good one we were work friends but then I retired. And it was hard for her to keep up the friendship I guess. But I think of her everyday, and I'm thankful that we had those years together.
Me either. @Patricia Russell
🥰👵🏽🙏🏾 Blessings to you and Desi and Happy resurrection Day, for He lives!! tfs
Such a beautiful post❣️ 15:52
Susan can’t wait to see Desi running free in his own backyard! You don’t have to say goodbye, just say “I’ll see you later” as I did when my husband drew his last breath on earth. I hope Hal will continue to be a part of your life. He appears to be a special part of your life. Love to you, Desi and Hal❤️❤️❤️
A good friend once said, and this is a quote from his grandmother. “Life is about losing things” …losing your 2 front teeth, saying goodbye to a friend moving away, losing a boyfriend or a good friend to an accident in high school and finally losing a spouse. There are many seasons in life.
so true! Losing those two front teeth. It starts right away doesn't it!
Oh yes...yes!!!
@@Mollygurl29 Jesus loves you and your soul is priceless!
Hugs!!
THANK YOU so much for your wonderful comment! A very Happy Easter to you! xo Susan & Desi
What a beautiful comment. Happy Easter to you.
Beautifully said
Hal looks sad, he's gonna miss you, for sure! 💜
Hal should move close to you, too, if he doesn't have a family. You both are going to miss each other so much 😢
Susan, you are entering a new chapter in your life and it’s an amazing one at that.
Many blessings to you and Desi on your next chapter in life 🙏
Amazing how God answers our prayers. So excited and really thrilled for you and Desi!
Thank you so much for being here and very Happy Easter! Susan & Desi
Brava for the strength to rebuild and redefine you life.
I said goodbye two years ago to a beach location and returned to the main city. My best friend was caring for his dying mother and my older brother was aging fast and alone. To be here with and for them has been true loving purpose. My little Xiaoy and I have fami.y now. That goodbye brought me home.
Hal is so witty with his answers about the picture and the salad. Love him in your videos.
THANK YOU so much for your wonderful comment! A very Happy Easter to you! xo Susan & Desi
Thank you so os much for saying these words to me! I so feel this is a sign!! And it feels so good!!!
All the best to you with your new journey. My grandmother always said to take the bitter with the sweet. I think about that a lot. take care, Susan!
I'm saying goodbye today to some sweet little girls who live too far away from me. May God keep them in His loving care!
My husband and I used to never say goodbye. He said it sounded like forever so we said,” I’ll see ya soon”. So, I’ll see ya soon Susan. 🙏🏻🙏🏻😊❤
What a special way God revealed Himself to you❤
There are no coincidences in life are there? 😊 Your Grandfather will be right there when you're signing and SO very proud that YOU never gave up! ❤
Oh how you make me tear up! Thank you so much for being here and very Happy Easter! Susan & Desi
I loved the story of your grandfather and how you felt peace inside! How it help you believe in the Lord. Beautiful story ❤
I love that your grandfather was a believer!
Oh what a wonderful idea...I am going to do just that!
That’s a great idea!!
Can’t wait to see Desi in his backyard and you enjoying your home!
This day of Easter is all about new Life and growth in a Kingdom not made by hands.....
Celebrate Life Always🎉🩷🐦💙🦜💜🎉
Closings are also openings. Walk through the door with joy in your heart ❤️
*Lysa*
Oh dear, I am crying reading your words!!! You have always been in my corner and cheering me on...I just adore you so much! A very Happy Easter Toni....-
I love you so much❣️
Thanks for sharing this!!
Just think of all the grandma walks with your grand babies ❤
We are with you and Desi all the way ❤❤
Oh sweet Susan, thank you for sharing your memories of your grandfather. What a wonderful time you had with him. Now it is your turn to make wonderful memories with your grandchildren. Just as you remember your grandfather, your grandchildren will remember you. I'm so happy for you. God Bless
I don't know if you know it or not but Hal loves you! It shows. And we ❤ you too!!!
So happy for you!
Please take Hal with you ✨🌷
Your videos always leave me with something to thing about.
Dear beautiful Susan,
First of all, I am so happy for you in seeing your dream of owning a home come true!

I am so thankful for you being in my life Mimi!!!! I am dancing today!!!
Susan, it's🌅 Easter -- a time of new beginnings. As the Irish blessing says:
MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU
MAY THE WIND ALWAYS BE AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE ☀️ SHINE ON YOUR FACE.
May the rain fall softly upon your field
And until we meet again
May the Lord hold you safely in the 🤌palm
of his Hand 🧚

This is so beautiful......you took a change...you went the distance...and look at you now....so happy! IYou give me hope!
You are an artist. I am 66 yrs old and your videos have a touch to them that harkens to days gone by. I wish you and Desi the best new life possible.
I hope you see Hal a lot too!
You will!!!
Thank you for including me on your journey. It's quite a fun ride.
Hal is such a nice man. Will he still join you on videos when you move? I hope so.
The thrifting will not be the same without the bantering back and forth between you and Hal
You did it again you made me cry ,sweet girl...
Thank you for the beautiful story of your grandfather. You are beginning a new chapter in your life, and I'm excited for you and Desi. Happy Easter Susan. ❤
Thank you so much for being here and very Happy Easter! Susan & Desi
It is undoubtedly “Divine Intervention” that you are realizing in the alignment of a home to move to, your son’s open arms, and going to settlement across from the “field of dreams.”
You have accomplished so much! I’ll never forget the time you said you didn’t know how to work a camera when you bought your first one!😅
You’re right Susan, you are Movin On Up !!! Go in peace and love.
What a gift you gave me tonight....I am sending you such love and good wishes for a wonderful life...xxoo
What a sign from Grandpa. You didn’t give up. He is smiling!
Dear Susan, Have you thought about writing a book?, i believe it would be wonderful. Adelaide Australia❤
I love that " sometimes a good bye can be a glorious Hello " . Moving on down the Road 🎈
Such a lovely vlog…one door closes but another opens 😍
Your new house looks charming, remember every goodbye is also an hello.
What a beautiful relationship with your Grandfather. He is still beside you and guiding you 💖💕
Hal was made for you; your great friends and loving companions!!!💖💖
He's a pill....I love him..but he's a pill!!!
That's love,😂👍💖
Same here, climbed trees as a little kid. Playing down in the woods and skipping down along the country roads. Such freedom then.
That little Desi is just precious! You too LittlePoet!
Thank you! You too!
I'm so happy for you and Desi. Have a wonderful upcoming week! God bless!
Susan your gift of story telling is phenomenal. You’re really among the very best.❤️❤️🥰
I also had a loving and treasured grandfather. He was very witty but, a quiet man. He too loved the Lord and I know we will see each other again! He made me homemade ice cream and always called me “kitten.” Thank you for this lovely memory! Happy Easter! 💌
Wishing you and Desi a wonderful and happy life in your new home.
Congratulations by the way on getting your own little home!👍❤️👏👏👏👏🤗🤗🤗
😊 Congrats on your brave at 68 move! You inspire the rest of us. ❤
I just adore you..thank you for your kindness!!! xo Susan & Dez

Cant go wrong with a Beatle's lyric. 🎶🎶🎶🎶. ✌️🤟
God Bless on this new “journey’! ! 🙏💔❤️😍
