I'm so glad that you seize every opportunity you can to spend time with the kids while educating your children. These real-life experiences are so much more educational & meaningful. We may never get these opportunities again if we don't take them now. Bless you & your family. ❤
Thanks for the links! I'm already 2 hours in the little women audiobook! I hope you will share more books in the future! It helps me a lot! ❤❤❤❤ hugs to you, Azariah, and the rest of your kiddos and dad too! 🫂👣💙💞🙏
Praying for your sweet baby boy and the rest of your family..from Minnesota with love from a now retired Pediatric and Family Nurse Practitioner. Little Azariah is growing and making so many strides..I hope he will be able to go home and be with his brothers and sisters..
You are doing an amazing job in an incredibly difficult situation. A great MamaBear the way you continue to find ways to connect with all of your children is truly admirable. AND they get to see and experience things they never would have if they were apart from you in Maine. You do what's best for your family in this season of life. Kudos MamaBear 🙏
Love seeing your outings! Brings history to life! Hope everyone is doing well Prayers and hugs😊❤.Little Women has always been an all time favorite book and then movie. Also loved Little Men!
What a delightful beautiful trip. MommaBear you are so full of life and inspiration. How lucky we are. Those homes are absolutely gorgeous. I would love to live in any of them. This is a beautiful place and something I would enjoy doing. Thank you for sharing. You girls have made my day.
What a wonderful history lesson. It's wonderful you take opportunities to educate your children this way. I love "little women". You are an awesome Mom.
I explore every thing I can explore for the exact reason you stated. I lived in Florida for 11 years and never explored, because I was going to tomorrow which never came. I moved to Maine from there and I have explored about every inch of it and the surrounding states. I always go to historic sites off season. It so much more peaceful and you can soak it all in. Thinking of you and your family, sending hugs and love.
Prayers for sweet Azariah and your family, especially through this flu and RSV season. Thank you for all the recipes and supper ideas. The tour was very interesting, thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing your outing with your children. What a way to help your children to learn about history. You get two thumbs up for doing this.
The wealth of hands on history you are able to see, touch, stand on is so amazing! This homeschool mama who lives way down here in Louisiana is quite jealous! I love that you are spending this time with your kids and showing them silver linings to being somewhere different for now. :)
I am so glad you liked it! It is a beautiful place and I love to share my adventures. Did you know the Acadians where we live were forced to Louisiana an 1775? That’s an interesting history piece
@ that’s very interesting! Thanks for Shari great that fact! There is an acadian village several hours south of us and when I csn swing a hotel we are going to make a trip to explore it and the Tabasco factory!
Hi Neysha, Love the field trip y'all went on..lots of education there on history. Thanks for sharing..the kids was loving it ...all there smiles showed that !! ❤❤❤ prayers and hugs sent to you guys . #PrayersforAzariah 🙏🙏🙏 #Azariahthefighter 💙💙💙
I don't bother teaching history in isolation. I remembered nothing until I got to college. A lot of people teach history with books but I personally think putting hands and feet to it actually gives it meaning. So that you can remember it longer than taking the test on Friday. This is cool.
One of my favorite stories is “Little Woman” along w “Anne of Green Gables”. I’m so glad this is a convenient day trip for you all. We are planning a trip to CT and MA for the fall. We are planning on going to Plymouth and Salem.
I went online to research the Ebenezer Fisk house. How awesome that you can tour historical places there. I would love to tour the Alcott house… hugs from Michigan… ❤
It’s amazing Mr Alcott wanted his daughters to follow their dreams, it’s a beautiful gesture and should be an option for all young women. I’m happy to see you out enjoying all the history the Boston area has to offer. Lexington is my home town, I currently still live in the area.On Patriots Day there’s a beautiful reenactment on the Lexington green with soldiers dressed for battle, it’s a beautiful take in, if you’re still in the area.
Thank you for the walk down memory lane for me. My father was a big advocate of seeing historical sights and learning about our history. To this day, my father still reads history books and goes to cival war sights and reenactments. He is starting to slow down as he is going on 89years of age. It's beautiful to see you make the time to take your children on these excursions. They looked like they were having a great time. Many prayers and blessings for you and your beautiful family.🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
That would be an awesome tour! I'm a bit shocked that in original old LW, it wasn't their father who went off to war (although how'd he get out of fighting) but Jo? Old movie much better than newer ones!
Have you explored Lexington and Deerfield?? You are learning all about my Ancestors . My 10x great grandparents are buried in the old cemetery in Lexington. You can see the marks from a musket shot during the revolution at the museum in Lexington center. So much history in the towns around Boston.. FYI a new museum just opened in Boston I think it's the museum of illusions looks really fun. Children's museum is neat so is Museum of Science. you can get discount passes through the Sales program with the library for some of the attractions.
We haven’t yet done Lexington or house of illusions although I think we walked past it’s near Quincy market I think 🤔 I’m going to share the science museum next week we just went there I LOVED IT!
They seem sad ??? Seriously, with all there big smiles and them dancing around and with there adorable giggles sure looked like they was sad huh ? 🤔. And they made a video on having friends, if you look back and watch it . There friends are all there brothers and sisters . Thats who they enjoy hanging out with they said. They are a happy family watch all her videos. Most people don't walk around smiling 24/7 and you seen a very small glimpse of the kids in this video and you assume they look sad . When they was happy in this video as we can see in the video. Don't feel bad for them . They are a very loving family and Momma bear makes sure her kids are happy and loved !! Prayers for Azariah
Doesnt look fun. Looks cold. It would be better if the houses were open and there were reenactments. Reading off placards is no different than reading a book. It is good you got fresh air and a walk.
I'm so glad that you seize every opportunity you can to spend time with the kids while educating your children. These real-life experiences are so much more educational & meaningful. We may never get these opportunities again if we don't take them now. Bless you & your family. ❤
Thank you! We are so blessed to be able to take advantage of these moments.
Nice to see you out with the family. Looked like a fun day. I always loved Little Women and Men, Jo’s Boys, she was a great author. Val C
It was a wonderful day and a great place to visit!
So educational for the kids. Better than reading in a book.
I truly enjoyed watching very neat 😊 Praying for Baby Azariah ❤ And all of your beautiful family 💕 God Bless You all BIG BIG HUGS 💕😊

My 10 year old has been devouring history books lately, he would love a tour like that. Thanks for sharing ❤
That is awesome!
That would be an awesome tour! I'm a bit shocked that in original old LW, it wasn't their father who went off to war (although how'd he get out of fighting) but Jo? Old movie much better than newer ones!
He was too old for war at that point
I have been to the Old North bridge and seen the bridge and monument. This is where it all started, the birth of our nation.
Yes isn’t it incredible!
I have lived in MA all my life and would never move . Springtime is better.
We lived in ma for half our lives born and raised. But we left to afford to live a different life with land. So expensive here
what a great day out ,looked lovely
Thanks so much

Yes we are strong believers in getting outside in all seasons. Also keeping our minds and bodies active in all seasons. So it was perfect for us.
The Louisa May Alcott house is open and we toured you are not slot pictures or filming unfortunately.
