All trems will stay in tune on it's setup correctly, the nut cut & lubed correctly, and strings wound correctly on tight tuners. Even my 6 screw tremolo on my Glarry stays in tune hence the setup. Learned it from the FruduaTV YT channel.
Another great video, Jake!! I love always love your videos! Also you’re right that it’s a good price. I keep mentioning my purple shred telecaster, but I built it under $200. Also I’m glad you said that factory’s don’t finish the wiring. I’m building a telecaster out of legos, and I don’t know how to solder. But now I’m kinda nervous to take to someone to wire it for me. (EVH Wolfgang bridge humbucker and EVH low friction pot)
Dude thank you man! I’m still working on that tele striped video 🙏🏼 If you seen my EVH builds I used that same set up and it’s amazing Wolfgang bridge humbucker and the EVH low friction pot!
@@jakethefate I have seen all your EVH guitar build videos, but I don’t remember you put any Wolfgang pickups in. For the bumblebee you used the Dimebucker (which is a great tribute by the way). The black and white you put a dragonfire pickup or something, the you put a hidden Seymour Duncan. And the 5150 guitar (my favorite) you put a Seymour Duncan JB something. Oh! And the V. You put a Seymour Duncan Invader.
Hey bro - I discovered this video and your channel looking for info on working on my own JS22. I’ve had it for a few years now, but only in the past couple years started working on it. Anyway, I (literally today) learned that there’s a screw in the side of the trem arm that you expose when pushing the arm all the way to the guitar. Idk whether it’ll be on yours (you manage to not show that side when holding it!) but it’s worth checking. I was literally using plumbers tape to hold it in at all… It’s the smallest Allen wrench size of all time, but my trem bar holds now!
I would prefer if they made these JS series with hardtails instead of the shitty trembridge. It could also save some manufacturing costs making it sllightly cheaper overall in the end too
Those are definitely different pickups then what came in all my jacksons. I even have the same guitar with the bellcat pickups. The roha thing your thinking of it just a stamp that goes on all of them. I have the blacken black winter in this guitar and in e standard its nasaly and that cocked wah sound but when you down tune it sounds fine. I dont like the black winters.
Also the necks are amazing but the binding goes to shit after a couple years due to it cracking where the frets are. Its a shame really. Even my soloist is doing the same thing. Jackson made me dislike bound necks
Love your reviews. Nice job.
best review i could find on youtube

If you tighten the springs it basically becomes a hardtail string thru bridge. That's actually a good thing. But yeah the arms look silly
Good review informative
Youre the best brother

U are well
Emg 81 sounded best in my js22 vs other ones i tried.
Thin necks are fast
