Fronting Up To The Critics

Fan forums seem commonplace in modern sport nowadays, yet back in 2011 the NSW Waratahs led the way in this form of engagement in its rawest and most confronting setting - in front of their passionate fan base. Looking back, it was revolutionary, brave and possibly a watershed moment in how teams would then react with their stakeholders and audience in the future. Hats off to Jason Allen Kym Aust-Howlett Brett Moore Chris Webb Chris Hickey for leading the initiative, although it was a leap of faith I'm sure. Great to see Drew Mitchell and Phil Waugh on the front line. It was definitely a key moment that we were lucky to be able to capture on camera in the first series of 'The Code'.
