    The trio of Avar, Stellan and Elzar are fantastic IMO. Very big fan of their relationship and the characters in general.

      I still can't figure out just what happened that one night when the three of them spent inside her room. LoL

    IIRC he was an absolute player in The Rising Storm.

      I find him super relatable. First of all these HR characters feel extremely consistens passing from one author's book to another and Mann always strikes me as a Jedi very aware of his humanity. He isn't branwashed by the order. Very much a maveric in vein of Qui-Gon Jinn.

    My favorite character in New Canon

      Oh wow, really? That's dope man. I really enjoy him a lot too but my heart will always go out to Loden Greatstorm. Something about him was just so special. I can't name it.

    With Elzar Mann my favorite book would have to be The Rising Storm & The Fallen Star. I don’t believe he’ll fall to the Dark Side. His dedication to the Jedi Order runs deep. I never thought of him as a maverick.

    He’s like a mix of Qui-Gon and Anakin. What a combo! Great video! Glad the High Republic is getting some love

    High Republic books are top top tier they started selling them in my country (1st time i can buy books so i dont have to go digital) and he is BY FAR my favorite charachter, as you said he reminds me of qui gon but with a bit of anakin or even obi wan in him. I feel him, stellan, avar sre best trio in (personaly) whole star wars in general

    I think Elzar is a great character that not only see's the bigger picture, but is so dedicated to the force that it'll most likely be his downfall. I just hope he goes out swinging 🙃

    Elzar is really one my favorites. Have you seen the comic panel of him talking with Luke about the Jedi order?

      Nope, how would that happen? Via hologram?

    Hey Ben!! Great character highlight video. Besides Loden Great storm, Elzar is my second favorite of the new characters. I agree that he reminds me of Qui-Gon. I feel they looked at certain aspects of the Jedi and who people were a fan of that didn't have much story beyond the films. Unless you got into the EU side of things. Great Vid brother 👍 Keep up the awesome content you provide for us.

    Id say hes a mix of qui gon and quinlan vos. Stellan is closer to being like qui gon id say

    • @starwarstimeline
      @starwarstimeline  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, that's pretty close too! Quinlan Vos gave Zero F's about the Jedi or their Dogmas though. LoL

    The best character in the high republic so far. Extremely likeable and interesting. Which cannot be stand for most of the human characters who are really bland like all of the comic book main characters.

    • @starwarstimeline
      @starwarstimeline  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I fell of the HR comics but I find something to like about most human characters in the main novels. Bell Zatifar, Stellan Gios, Avar Kriss, I enjoy the personal struggles they go through.

      Yeah they’re all great as well as Elzar Mann. Do you think we’ll see them again in phase 3?
      I can’t predict the future but I hope the time period of these characters becomes the “main” period of the High Republic to centre and focus this messy era for the foreseeable at least like the Clone Wars is the centre of the end of the Republic era, and the way the Bane Trilogy is the centre for the end of the Old Republic.
      I want to see games and tv shows featuring these characters before moving further into the high republic time period.
      They were the first and flag ship characters of this era and it would be awful story telling and marketing if they get abandoned.
