This was a hum dinger cause I love old bottles …. That hound dog well he or she’s a beauty ! Love the shop btw Hey ! You got The Andy Griffith show on that tv in the background…. Man that’s so weird I knew you liked the show tho I don’t know you personally…. You thought I was a guy named Bill you used to work with …. Ha ! So my older brother bought a 14 acre farm out in Western Crawford County Arkansas ( it had the oldest farmhouse in the county built in 1890 ) and there’s a bottle dump right behind his house … he has refused to let me dig so what do little brothers do? They wait till their brother goes on vacation- and the digging begins !! Again - I’m Chris & I say Hey 👋 Ha !!
There ya go! Don’t let him catch ya! I’ve watched the Andy Griffith show for years, I can recite the words before they even say them. Things I like, just stick with me. There will never be another show like that one. I thought you were my friend Bill, because we worked together about 10 years ago. We used to quote the show all the time. I have them all on DVD too. I don’t know you personally, but if you were closer, I’m sure we’d get along great. I can still hear my grandpa laughing at the tv! Hahaha! CITIZENS ARREST CITIZENS ARREST! The Bloodhound Duke, was my best buddy ever, he was with me always. He was getting old when I started the channel, or he’d been with me on every hunt. I lost him in 2020. I just can’t bring myself to get another. He was special for sure! But if I do get another dog, I’m gonna get female Basset Hound and I’m gonna name her Jethreen!
I know I don't need to tell an old country boy what else you can find under them tree roots. I was out walking the shoreline of a large creek looking for artifacts when I spotted a nice quartz triangle. It appeared to have washed out of the root ball of a large tree which had fallen and was now suspended above the embankment. As I crouched down under the roots to pick up the arrowhead, I looked up into the tangle of roots and came eye to eye with a really large cotton mouth. Great finds, I'm really enjoying your videos.
Hey Scott awesome exploring and great bottle finds , I enjoyed watching , love kayaking also grounds almost frozen here in Fairbanks Alaska, I'm going to give it one more try Saturday would love to find 1 more bottle before 8 months of cold ( end of may ground thaws) stay safe and good luck on your next bottle digging adventure ( BIG thumbs up from Alaska) there's a new series coming on soon that I will be on , It's called the Alaska triangle and it's on the travel channel , was supposed to start october 21st ( will have to wait & see) Later bro
@@donniev8181 I’ve thought about it, but just too hard loosing them. He was a special one. Can’t bring myself to get another. Maybe if I live to be 70, then I’ll get one.
Something to think about... much of the old "quack" medicine had very strong drugs in them opium, alcohol and many others very strong . In most of the old refuse piles these seem to be most of the bottles found . I believe drug addiction has been here since the beginning and just as bad ... I don't think this is a recent development....
Nice finds brother!
Thanks Much👍
