I work for Delhi Metro & now posted here to complete mumbai metro project, we are working day & night continuously to finish this project with high quality & safety. We are working really hard to achieve a sustainable & efficient transport system. For those who thinks it's getting late I would like tell them - there are so many issues & technicalities that we face everyday & needs time to be resolved. It's not just govt but we face issues related to common public everyday as if there is temple or masjid on the way in our route then it's gonna take a lot of time to deal with it as people are much connected to religion & we have to make sure Noone gets hurt & work should be done as well. Further type of soil, involvement of local authorities, weather conditions etc effect the time consumed in project so we can't assume metro project should be done in mumbai will take same time as in delhi or Bangalore.I do agree govt plays a significant role as well but there might be some reasons that we aren't aware of,But I assure you when it's done mumbai will be a totally different city. Pollution & traffic gams will get reduced. You can travel on time & much more. I hope this information is helpful. 👷‍♂️🙏

But still will be far behind Delhi metro network
it’s good that Mumbai network will be second largest metro system in future
But still doubtful whether all metro project will end on time in Mumbai as because of space as well as bureaucratic problems
      Good luck to Mumbai 👍

Whether it is delhi or Mumbai or any other city of India these problems are everywhere Even delhi metro had set world records for fast & timely construction but now it is moving with Snails’s pace with its upcoming construction in delhi
Maybe Dr shreedharan was the chief of metro at that time who constructed metro system on war basis in delhi
Even that time he was supported very well by Sheila Dixit Govt
So no construction can be possible without Full Govt support
But this time it looks in coming Days
Mumbai people are going to benefited a lot in future after all metro line completion 👍
Even Modi Govt is doing very well not for a city but for entire India
The Construction which is going on in entire India for highways and other projects is the need of time for all of Us
I think these projects will pave the way for future development of India
& we all will be beneficial for these things 👍
Our GDP of India will drastically increase
India will be put on international map
      For its development
Let’s be hopeful in this new year 👍

We have a fully functional suburban railway network that we didn't allow to rot unlike in Delhi. 200 km to bc 1947 me hi poore hue the.
I have travelled to Delhi multiple times since the late 1990s. You have shifted everything to the metro and killed the suburban railway. No genuine connection between Hazrat Nizamuddin and New Delhi, two of India's most important stations. You have to take the 45 minute metro (with a line change) instead of an 8 minute train ride.

I remember 15 years back when I read the master plan for the metro (till line 6), the last line between Kalyan-Thane was expected to begin operation in 2021, rest of them between 2014-2018. I used to think wow it's so far in 2021 (back in 2006) and such a long wait. Totay it's Apr 2021, we still have only line operational and still dreaming for other lines to begin their operation.
Our governments are so inept & loaded with bureaucracy. There is a complete lack of professionalism in every govt sector. Doesn't matter who rules (BJP, SS, Cong), every leader is a failure. And we're responsible for this since we're still busy doing our religion/cast mathematics in choosing our leaders.

Today is 16 july 2023, two days after the Chandrayan 3 launched. After watching this video I went to google maps to see how much it has progressed. and horrified to see that only line 1, 2A, and 7 is operational now, others are still idk where.
Im from Delhi and here in my everyday travel, I saw the new Delhi-Meerut RRTS construction, damn it's fast and it will also run the Meerut metro too in Meerut. RRTS 4 stations are about to be operational anytime now, which includes Ghaziabad Station (a very important one). Now in last Phase IV, the pink line soon going to turn into a ring line (believe me this one is a big one). Magenta line to bring an additional 20+ stations soon. Both RRTS and these lines are to complete under 2025. idk why they said 2025 with the current construction speed I think 2024 is the year unless they decide to take a break. And Future plans are even better, two new RRTS to Haryana and Rajasthan are approved, and Delhi Metro along with Noida Metro started planning to make better connectivity to Jewar Airport and Greater Noida.
Sry, said too much but I not bragging or such, I thought just like Delhi every city is developing fast in transportation and it is, as I learn about Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore Metro growing at a rapid pace. I thought Mumbai Metro too is going to explode but it seems halted. Uff, I do still think out of all the cities in India Mumbai is the city that deserves a good metro system the most rn and is the only one seemed left behind. I think Mumbai's geography and its area are very challenging to make infrastructural development and such. Anyway, I want Mumbai to grow.
If any Mumbaikar, who feels sad after this. You guys got the coolest upcoming highways next, which include the trans-harbor bridge (almost completed) and under construction the coastal road network. Im just jealous of that.

    • @NS-ll9ur
      @NS-ll9ur ปีที่แล้ว +1

There was a lot of political mudslinging and counter ordering here for the last 4 years....that with the Delays due to COVID, and the general Indian Delays put together all these lines won't be open till 2030....but we do have a very very functional and efficient(not to be confused with comfortable) local train network which is also undergoing upgrades.... hopefully by 2026 lines 2B, 3, 6 9 and 4 are opened as well...the rest will however take a little more time to be completely operational....
And about highways, roads and tunnels...the plans are ambitious and game changing MTHL has been historic none the less...but the others have a threat of being stalled/slowed down on a change of government...also environmental activists...so yeah... you guys also have a more than average road network yourselfs....
