Do you have any more precise definition what the neutral position is? Because in the video you correct his inital non weightbearing position to a more supinated one, and I cant figure out the reason...
you need to look from behind and get a straight line through the calf and calcaneous. the achilles tendon should look straight so that the calcaneous is neutral
Not necessarily. Overpronation is associated with some pathologies of the foot, ankle and knee but the link is not as clear as once assumed. If you suffer from tibialis posterior tendinopathy for example, it might be a factor to modify in rehab for example through insoles
What is treatment?

After measuring the tuberosity in standing position, how can we bear the weight on the leg to check for pronation?
First sitting, then standing
@@Physiotutors ok...thanks for dealing with my doubt
Hi Physiotutors,
Do you have normative values to characterize normal foot, and flat foot, by navicular drop Test ?
Merci
Matthieu from France !
We don't, but it's about the difference measured during the test as mentioned at the end of the video
1 cm seems to be the maximal value i guess according to the video. but the patients anatomy, especially the foot size would make a difference.
Are we measuring them from non weight bearing to full weight bearing?
Yes
what is the initial position of the patient when u want to palpate the navicular tuberosity
any position really, can even do it in standing
ok thanks
you guys are amazing!
you did not say how effective this test is
Bro this foot is totally okay , mine is 1000 times worse
Thank you! melhor canal de testes
What is meaning, if it more than 1cm? My navicular drop is 1.5 cm ?
great video!!
So if the drop is less then 1cm, it means your foot is not overpronation?
Exactly
Excelente 🎉
thank you
You're welcome and thank you for following!
Andreas stubbed his toe :D
It’s a never ending curse
Playing soccer has its downsides 😅
antreas defo play basketball
is it bad that mine dropped over 2 cm
