You are right there, Sonic Boom was intended to lean more toward children's play. Sonic 06 was meant to be more of a main series Sonic game, but didn't turn out to be quite that. Neither of these were even close to being completely finished games, nor did either have good graphics for their time, or even gameplay. Sonic 06 did one thing right that Sonic Boom just didn't, and that is the obviously amazing music. Overalll, I just feel that Sonic Boom should have never happened and well, Sonic 06 COULD have been a great game but.... that's how it works.
