I play them both, I enjoy them both, S6 Shorekeeper and about to have C2 Xilonen, Natlan is a lot of fun, Wuthering Waves is early on yet guaranteed weapon banner is really good and I'm excited to see where it goes, gacha revenue is stupid you're never going to know the full amount the companies make, it took Wuthering Waves to make genshin improve itself and that's a W, if you're not having fun there's always the option to find something you enjoy playing, there's NTE coming and that could be great if handled well.

As a wuthering waves fan and genshin hater, nothing will "overtake" genshin. It's established itself in a very circumstantial and opportune time in everyone on earth's lives where it became the monster that it is today. Never even heard of gacha games when i started playing it, its niche being an f2p breath of the wild clone. Thanks to it, I play wuthering waves today

If a Company does transaction directly from your PC [DIRECTLY] to company server for in-game currency to buy characters. The company gets the Full Payment for your money 💰 unlike Mobile.

I like exploring the world of WuWa much more - because there is a convenient parkour, unlike slow climbing into the Genshin Impact, and if you want it easier, then buy a character with the mechanics you need

As long as wuwa cannot run on mobile without fry it, it still has long way to overtake GI.
This is not 1.0 anymore. 1.3 has been good on mobile. Even Genshin fry mobiles if played for long hours. And the reason WuWa won't overtake Genshin is because the fanbase of Genshin is too loyal to Hoyoverse. Majority of those are even Hoyo games players only, not even gacha players.
Be ready because many UE4 and UE5 are coming.

@@cherozkiahyusof4902 that's a device issue on your part if that's the case. Even my POCO X3 Pro was able to play WuWa on 1.0, albeit with lag. However, 1.3 is so much smoother now compared on launch.

WuWa and GI are both open world games. WuWa will get better overtime after each patch release, because they keep improving the game. GI is already big and only thing that can bring GI down is themselves(Devs). Not to mention the lack of transparency from GI devs as well.
Remember, people have “preferences” and that’s ok. Some people might like GI more then WuWa and reverse. As long as people enjoy either game, I honestly don’t see a problem here…
That being said, let’s get serious now.
GI devs *DON’T* listen to their players feedback and that’s a *FACT.* I played GI, until their second anniversary and I dropped it because how poorly they treated us during that said anniversary. It *WAS* a slap in the face! Those who said other wise are just plain ignorant or stupid(or both). They *ONLY* started improving the game once WuWa was release and even then, the changes they added in weren’t that big. If anything, the changes were added in very late and people seen. That, GI devs could’ve added in the said changes at *ANYTIME!*
GI devs just want one thing and that’s as much money as possible without putting in that much effort on improving the game. Shhhh! Even the recent “QoL” changes they added in the recent region release was a disappointment. They even added a new feature, that you can reroll artifact substats with…But! You’ll have to wait a few months to completely roll all 4 substats to your liking. Not to mention, they gate keep that said needed material behind the paid BP. Yes, you can get the said material outside the BP but still, they’re basically forcing people to get the paid BP to obtain more of that scarce material 🤦♂️
Now, let’s talk about WuWa.
WuWa devs(KURO) *actually* listens to the players feedback and if they mess up, they actually apologies for messing up. The transparency between the devs and the players in WuWa is a breath of fresh air. They’re actually communicating with their players and are upfront about anything. They won’t just ignore you, they actually want to hear your feedback and they answer questions that you asked. Not like GI devs, WuWa devs actually want to improve their game in each patch and make sure the players are having a good experience overall playing their game. That’s what each game devs should be like, then wanting to squeeze as much money form their players as possible.
KURO been nothing but kind and generous towards their players since day 1. The proof is out there for you to see. Free 5 star characters(Standard) and a recent free limited 5 star character, that is actually good! Each patch, they like to add in new events being solo or co-op events. They’re not afraid to give the players what they want and that is harder content. They know the players like harder content to try out their fully build characters on and of course, test their skills as well. WuWa devs said it themselves! They’re not focused on making the most money as possible. They want to focus on the players gaming experience.
As long as they make enough money to stay up float, they said it’s ok with them because they *actually* want the players to enjoy their game. Plus, WuWa is making good money. Nothing compared to the top ranking games atm but still, they’re making money. When you spend in WuWa you actually don’t feel bad spending, because you know the dev actually cares.
Lastly, WuWa set a new standard on how devs should treat their players 🤗

I feel like Genshin and WuWa are in a similar situation to Minecraft and Terraria. Minecraft was the first game of it's genre that got really popular, but looking back on it years later, it has a lot of flaws. The game is preety poorly optimized and the updates are infrequent and don't really add much to the game, while Terraria was the opposite, as it got very big and good updates frequently that added a lot to the game, but there where a lot of people that wouldn't even give the game a shot because they'd think it was just "2D Minecraft". Sure they're still different games and everyone will have their own preference, but saying that one is better then the other in every way and that the other is a complete clone, which is what some Genshin players are doing with WuWa when they haven't even played the game, is just dumb.

From my personal experience they are neck and neck in many ways but both have their faults
Genshin release absolutely busted dps and support characters but the problem is the content doesn’t require them to be that strong but they do a amazing job at presenting their characters
Wuthering waves release content that actually put those characters to the test and the quality of life is amazing especially the energy management but their character trailers don’t hype me up for the charactersas much as genshin

Genshin had a lot of things going for it (covid mainly) wuwa less so. But , Wuwa has already for a good audience.
But, many people because of sunk-cost-fallacy feel like they forced to protect their game against all competitors and they dont even wanna try competitor games (otherwise they feel like being dumb to spend too much money on a worse game, so they tried to convince themself that their game is best).

Quite a bit of what that guy was saying is pretty subjective. Some players might think like him, others would prefer Genshin way of doing things. Time will show. At the moment Genshin does not have to sell half-naked characters hit the sales targets, though.
The game is selling because of it's hardcore playerbase. They most of the Time are biased, but I know that deep inside, they know that the game is at a terrible state. This is just a copium effect, but they love their hu tao, furina, arlecchino, Raiden si they will stay.
