Hello Caroline, Thank you for all these products that look really great. I didn’t know about the spray SPF, very convenient, and all that you showed. And Thank you for showing up every Saturday morning, watching your videos is like opening a lovely window and feeling your freshness and joyfulness coming in ! Have a lovely week-end ! 🌸
That skin food light is so good. I went to Norway in November and thought my face and hands were going to fall off they got so dry. I picked it up and that saved them in one day. Its fabulous for older hands and under my eyes ! I put that on and my hands are 21 one again ❤
Can’t do balm cleansers and cloths on my uber sensitive rosacea prone skin but LOVE LOVE Dr Sam Bunting’s cleanser! One cleanse only absolutely has transformed my skin after years of double cleansing!
Hi Caroline, Thank you so much for sharing these products. I love your videos ❤️ I bought the body shop vitamin c moisturiser on your recommendation from one of your previous videos, and I have to say, I really like it! It provides lovely hydration, whilst protecting your skin. It smells amazing and has a lovely feel to it. It doesn’t feel sticky or like you have applied too much, it just feels fabulous, and at such an affordable price, its a winner winner, chicken dinner! Love it. Thank you for always being so lovely, calming and informative - keep being you - you are fabulous! ❤️🙏🏼😊xx
Great suggestions, thank you. Currently enjoying the Geek and Gorgeous C-Glow and their A-Game retinol, both very affordable and their shipping from Hungary is super quick.
I'm at uni and have no money to spend on skincare anymore (well, not much anyway). My skin goes tight the instant the water dries too, so I have the Cosrx Snail Mucin in the bathroom and whack that on straight away, followed by the Hada Labo Premium hyaluronic acid serum. Then I've been using the normal Cere Ve lotion as a kind of serum because it's not heavy enough on its own. On top, I've been putting either Skinfood (the heavy one) or good old Nivea which does the trick and locks everything in. Sometimes, I add The Ordinary retinol in squalene or Dear Klairs Vitamin C serum. I'm trying to use up everything I have before buying more. For cleanser Iove Simple oil cleanser but I ran out so am using up a cheap balm from Kmart. I also use Cereve cream cleanser and Cere Ve smoothing cleanser depending on how I feel.
I just love, love, love your exuberance and enthusiasm when you are reviewing products you like. I watch and learn with great interest and never miss your vlog. Bravo!
Thanks, great video yet again Caroline. I use the La Roche Posay spray all the time, and always use it to try to get a bit more moisture into my skin pre serums/moisturisers too, my skin has never been happier since using the Toleraine range and GOW deep vitamin c with squalene, sometimes the £10 strong one you mention - my pigmentation definitely minimising and skin looking pretty good even at 68. Though your makeup recommendations pay off big time too, getting more compliments thanks to you!
Victoria Health - I think that is where my very first The Ordinary products came from. Lovely products, and some that I want to try. Can't wait to try the Salt Hughes products.
I love skincare chatty videos. I'm a big fan of Beauty Pie. I use their Super Healthy Skin range on my face. Cerave cleanser and Weleda Skin Food are two of my faves too! ❤ xx
Great video as always! I'm on my 4th tube of the Body Shop Vit C Moisturiser. You're the first person I've seen recommending it and it's such a great little moisturiser. One of my holy grails. Sali's Vit C serum is gorgeous too.
Hi. I used a body shop spf and loved it but it had alcohol in it so it dried my skin. Do you think this moisturiser with spf is ok for combination skin ?
I also like Cerave Moisturising Lotion for face and body. I paid £7 for 236 ml of product. I found it a good, simple effective moisturiser that lasts for ages. Also really like the Q10 night moisturisers from Aldi and Lidl in terms of affordability and effectiveness
Hello Caroline!! Lovely, beautiful product's. What else would we expect from you. I wish your video's were longer, I just love listening to you talk about makeup 💄 xx
Hi Caroline, I've been really enjoying your videos, thank you! I'm ashamed to say I don't really understand when I should be using vitamin C or retinol, and I'd love to see an episode explaining these for 'beginners'. I'm almost 50 and just use a serum, moisturiser and night cream (Your Good Skin) but I'm fairly certain I should be doing more! Feel stuck in a rut but I'm not sure where to start. Help! Xx
I agree , I’m 60 ish 🤣 and I find it all very confusing ! Recently developed allergies …… can’t wear lipstick 💄 for at least 6 months 😢 Apparently the skin has a memory
Thank you Caroline, Living in the USA I watch your channel, because you introduce new & wonderful products that I don't hear about otherwise that are available to me here. Which I so appreciate. Dermatologist's are busy trying to get the FDA to rethink SPF the benefits & ingredients available to all of you. Luckily I can get wonderful Korean SPF & other products I couldn't get otherwise available through Stylevana. Several new SPF's containing Hyaluronic & Peptides that glide on like a dream and work beautifully under make-up. I most definitely will be trying the Sally Hughes products! By the way I am late catching this video as I have been on Holiday, but my new SPF's worked wonderfully. See you in your next video. ❤
Hi Caroline - thanks so much for these tips. Re: hand creams - I love Vaseline dark spot rescue - has spf 20 as well - cost is low and it’s really light and smells wonderfully fresh (if that makes sense) xx
Another great video, thank you. I have been enjoying a couple of Sukin's products; Cleansing Lotion for sensitive skin, which is soft and lovely as a morning or second cleanse, and Rejuvenating Day Cream from their Purely Ageless range, which leaves my combination skin feeling dewy. It is a bargain too (I alternate with Beauty Pie's Ultimate Anti-Ageing moisturiser).
Great video, CeraVe , The Ordinary, and Beauty Pie are all in my skin care routine, I like the sound of Body Shop Vit C moisturiser which I may try. I brought the Holland & Barrett advent calendar last Christmas and have really enjoyed some of the products in that, one moisturiser I have repurchased as it was so lovely on my 60+ dry skin Weleda 24h Hydrating facial cream it’s lovely as is nearly everything in the Q+A range. I so enjoy your videos!
Thanks Caroline. I can highly recommend Geek and Gorgeous Retinaldehye, affordable and lasts ages, I also like their niacinimide and azaleic acid serums. Currenlty using Bondi Sands Golden Hour Vit C and have been impressed by this. Cleansers I enjoy cerave and Me+ and my repeat purchase balm cleanser is always No7 in the purple tub, its lovely and removes all makeup.
Great set of suggestions! I love the plantastic cleanser and was recently amazed and thrilled to find the GOW vitamin c. I used to use Timeless but the formulation is no longer acceptable in Europe, so finding the GOW product that also uses l-ascorbic at less than half the price got me very excited! I do just add a bit of vitamin e into my routine. I’m ordering the mist and sunscreen spray now!
Great video Caroline....and very informative as always 😊 I am loving the Beauty Pie Happy Face. When I saw it was a Cica cream I wasn't sure, as they are usually a bit " paste like " in texture....but it's more like a gel cream and absorbs qiute quickly. Great to layer over a serum at night especially in the summer months. Oooh...love it when you start talking to yourself....very funny! When are we going to see your lovely Mum? Maybe do a nice Summer daytime make-up???? 😊
This is a great selection of products, Caroline, thank you very much! I’m a great fan of CeraVe salicylic acid cleanser and the Inkey List Retinol. Great products at low prices. Cleansing balm tends to be pricey but the Inkey List does a lovely one for about a tenner called Oat Cleansing Balm. Nothing fancy but it does the job perfectly. Have a great weekend everyone! xx
The Inkey List Oat Cleaning Balm is the best cleansing balm I’ve ever tried, it takes sunscreen and make up off in one step especially on the eyes it’s very gentle and doesn’t make your vision cloudy afterwards
Great video, as always! I will try the Salli Hughes products. Currently, I'm using URIAGE brand, which I really love and highly recommend. For dry, sensitive, reactive skin. Their XEMOSE range. The micelar water is amazing too. I also use thermal water spray. Great for sensitive skin. Fan of La Roche Posay as well. 😊
Thanks for this, in the current climate budget friendly products are absolutely essential, so thank you. I have always wondered how to top up facial SPF when you are out and about and wearing foundation, so is a spray your product of choice for this?
Fabulous haul Caroline - and couldn’t have come at it better time either. Really interested in trying the Sali Hughes’s line, will check them out ASAP. Thanks for all the good tips 👏🏻
A refreshing Saturday morning start with you Caroline! Already using La Roche effaclar for my oily t zone even 57! Will give some of the others try too. Love your experience! Xx
Hello Caroline thanks for a wonderful video and all the hard work that went into it. What a great selection of products. I love Beauty Pie so much and have a lot of their very good quality skincare, it’s always sent to me really fast and comes wrapped in the beautiful pink packaging with the lovely pink tissue paper! (Sorry get a bit carried away with Beauty Pie!😜) Also love Bare Minerals light oil cleanser Smoothness, does not leave your face feeling tight and takes all makeup off.🥰💜
Hi Caroline. I love your videos you are the reason why i come peeping to youtube now and then as i am more an instagram person. Also i love that you included some conscious brands. An affordable conscious brand that i love is Merme for the hyaluron serum. Their prod7cts are pure and concentrated
I really enjoyed this video, thank you Caroline. I use a lot of Beauty Pie but prefer the Japan fusion cleanser to the Plantastic. Victoria Health’s own brand Garden of Wisdom have some great serums. I can’t use the Vitamin C you showed as it’s too irritating for me but they do a gentler Vitamin c serum called C deep which uses Tetrahexyldecl Ascorbate which is stable and doesn’t irritate my skin. They also do great oils and acid serums. Definitely worth looking at the range and their customer service is brilliant. I’ll probably try Sali’s Vitamin C serum to compare. The Beauty Pie retinol serum is lovely, I believe it’s stronger than the moisturiser, but doesn’t cause me any irritation. For an affordable retinal I’ve used Geek and Gorgeous with good results. My favourite moisturiser is Beauty Pie’s Triple hyaluronic acid, lovely texture and unfragranced.
Hi Caroline, my two favourites are Vichy Mineral 89 Daily booster Have been using that for many months now and my skin through menopause has become quite dry Then after that I put on Drops of youth cream by The Body Shop seems to work great for me Desperate to try the japan fushion cleanser by beauty pie Have a lovely weekend Caroline Penny xxx
Great video! I like the cerave retinol, the Skin+me brand also do a cleanser and moisturiser which works out very reasonable bought with the serum as a subscription too. X
I discovered Decubal this winter; it’s been around for ages but I’ve not cared about it bc I thought it was «too simple & cheap». It’s a nordic brand and it suits my dry winter skin perfectly! The Repair cream has been a saviour for hands and face this winter, but now I use the Face Vital Cream morning & nights. I use the Lipid Cream for slugging, or just on my hands. I’ve tried the LaRochePosay spray spf 50 you mentioned, and I’m really sad it isn’t for me bc it stings my eyes. I also wish Beauty Pie would be available international but it’s not (at least not here in 🇳🇴) Great video - Thanks for sharing, Caroline! ❤️
This video must have taken a lot of work Caroline, thank you. I'm gutted about the Sali Hughes line having fragrances in pretty much everything, I thought it might as I know she likes fragrance but I avoid it as I have sensitive skin 😔. Are you going to do a video with LRP or have I missed it?! x
I sat thinking what about the ordinary and at the last gasp..Thanks for this video it’s been great. My top picks have to be Beauty pie collagen eye pen. It’s the only thing I can get to sit in the deep dark corners of my eye that I can then apply concealer over so it doesn’t crack or look crepey. Nivea eye make up remover the oily blue one is phenomenal and remove any mascara without stinging and its £2! And buffet by the ordinary hydrates and is antioxidant rich and disappears within seconds. Oh and I but a rose water and glycerin face spritz for £14 on Amazon. Huge bottle and though I’m not a massive fan of the smell it hydrates like a dream 😊xx
So sad we don’t have the Sali Hughes products in the US but I do use a lot of beauty pie. I love the Japanfusion line. My skin is very dry. Weleda smells amazing but didn’t like the way it feels. Great suggestions. ❤️This is not at all a budget suggestion but would love to know what you think of the Westman Atelier line. I never thought I’d spend this much on makeup but I love it!
Hiya Caroline, saw Beauty Pie and thought, oh no I can't get those....oooohhh look at those nails what colour is that? Where can I get that!? So easily distracted 😋 Thank you for doing this video, I am 49 & starting to look soooo old with makeup on so am concentrating on skincare 😏 tanks very much 😊
Thank you for another super helpful video, Caroline! I also have a couple of suggestions, after having tried a number of lip balms and salves, etc. I have discovered the perfect lip care product, it's WELEDA Nipple Balm, if you try it you will see... also, I have found that the Weleda skin food light is an excellent product to use as a hand cream. This from someone who has quite sensitive hands who work a lot in and out of the kitchen...
I cannot justify spending more than a tenner on a cleanser - it is going down the drain after all. I'd rather keep the extra pennies for moisturisers. This was very informative Caroline, thank you. Love Cera Ve and La Roche Posay. Two of my go to brands for affordable skincare
Sadly the BP balm didn’t work for me, so I stick with the No 7 version. Other than that, it’s CeraVe for face wash, moisturiser and hand cream, with a couple of Inkey List serums thrown in, the Skin+Me for my retinoids.
Hi you were doing really well with cruelty free products until the Cera Ve. I find it such a shame. Perhaps as well as saying “this product is cruelty free “ you should be saying when one isn’t? Would make people think
I got into the whole TH-cam beauty world looking for good affordable products so thanks for the update! Effaclar Duo I can't be without, it keeps my skin clear (it's got a salicylic acid in) & I use it under moisturizer as it's not enough on its own as my skin is pretty dry. Other affordable products I love: cleansers; Boots no 7 melting gel, & your good skin hot cloth cleanser The Dr Sam nightly and or brightly serums are a bit more money but contain a mix of good ingredients so would replace 3 or 4 other serums & is still v reasonable compared to the department store big brands, (I also love her lip balm it's sooo good I use every night & almost never need any other balm in the day) I use the big bottle cerave lotion moisturizer it's so light feeling but so moisurising it beats much heavier products, a drop of squalane oil on top if I need it (last was superdrug brand). Superdrug simply pure hydrating serum is lovely & super cheap. Best bargain must be the (about £7) Garnier Ambre Solaire Anti-Age Super UV Face Protection SPF50, light, soft, moisturising but non greasy (dupe of la Roche Posay) Really looking forward to trying Sali's range, Thanks again 🥰
I’ve used GOW VitC for a couple of years now after a very disappointing experience with SkinCeuticals C serum. Why anyone forks out over £100 for SkinCeuticals is beyond me. It’s all hype with that product. The GOW serum is amazing, effective and very, very reasonably priced. Michelle at Lab Muffin Beauty Science (look up her TH-cam channel) showed how to test the efficacy of your VitC by using iodine. I tested SkinCeuticals and GOW and GOW performed perfectly. Don’t stress if you see the GOW colour look an opaque yellow, it’s not oxidised - I’ve tested again with iodine and it performed perfectly. Really, if you’ve not tried GOW do it! Give it 3 months and see what you think. Like all VitC serums it will stain anything you touch if you don’t wash your hands after, so would recommend that and avoiding necklines on clothes.
Hello, don't you spritz when you use hyaluronic? Lots claim it can make skin more dry over time because it's a water magnet and if there is not enough on the surface it draws it from the deeper layers of the skin which can't easily be replaced. Dr shereen idris has a really good vid on her TH-cam channel. I didn't like gow vitamin c which was the only one affordable and available in UK that ticks all the boxes (concentration, pH and stability) on paper. Mine kept firing hard lumps of ascorbic acid powder out, alot, so could be nowhere near concentration its supposed to be, also mine oxidised after about a month. I'm stuck with the ordinary one but I don't enjoy using it (apparently the ordinary picnoganil (?sp) will make any oxidised vitamin c usable again by adding a few drops-seen on TH-cam but not tried). GOW multi acid toner is really good though and is brilliant value, good for dry skin and in handy spritzer. I've used regular skin food but find it very sticky and takes hours to sink in and when it does my skin feels dry again I never thought to try the light because my skins so dry I don't mess around, I go straight for the big guns. I have a recommendation but it's one of those you don't want people to know about because the price goes up but I love cosrx ultimate nourishing rice overnight mask which I pay £13 for. Its a light but intensive ceramide moisturiser which doesn't rub off or feel heavy and rice is nourishing with brightening properties but please don't tell anyone. I haven't had a k-beauty product I haven't loved using. Moisturisers tend to be ultra nourishing without heaviness. I would be interested in knowing what you think of dr jarts cica cream which is green to colour correct, I haven't seen anyone with dry skin recommend it but some use instead of light makeup. I would be interested to see you review k-beauty in general. As someone with extra pale skin I'm interested in cushion compacts and they're so different to foundations we're used to, more concentrated and no emollient or silicone so supposed to not move and clump. Pale skin, low maintenance, base recommendations would be greatly appreciated ! I would be interested in seeing how you combine your skincare, I find it so confusing eg. vitamin c shouldn't be used with retinol (because they have conflicting purposes) or niacinimide because of pH (apparently ur supposed to wait 30min) and vitamin c and niacinimide don't mix because they have such different pH they cancel each other out.????? I really appreciate your videos, for me they're an antidote to all the depressing stuff going on in the world. Ive watched alot more than once and regularly share them. I wish you wouldn't get self conscious, you never have any reason to and you're among friends. You've completely changed the way I feel about makeup. Thank you.
_How did you track your package ? When you make a purchase you can always check the delivery @ wdsep.com , and the seller is very nice to talk with . When you got the bags , its totally worth the wait_

Great suggestions, thank you. Currently enjoying the Geek and Gorgeous C-Glow and their A-Game retinol, both very affordable and their shipping from Hungary is super quick.
Agree love both the G&G C-glow and A-game 😀
So many wonderful products not available in the States. I do love the Ordinary Buffet and the Laroche Posay hydrating cleanser. Thank you and be well.

Thank you once again Caroline, you're like a breath of fresh air. I'm feeling miserable with Covid at the moment, this really cheered me up.
I love skincare chatty videos. I'm a big fan of Beauty Pie. I use their Super Healthy Skin range on my face. Cerave cleanser and Weleda Skin Food are two of my faves too! ❤ xx
Thank you so much for exposing me to some unfamiliar brands and products. Quite excited to try a few of these.
My super-dry sensitive skin thanks you very much, great video Caroline 💗

I also wish Beauty Pie would be available international but it’s not (at least not here in 🇳🇴) Great video - Thanks for sharing, Caroline! ❤️
Your amazing -
Love your videos - esp this one
Caroline have you tried 'EVOLVE' products ? Great skin care range all organic made in the UK to boot !
Oh Polly thanks for sharing great tips!!
The original weleda lip balm is my favourite
I cannot justify spending more than a tenner on a cleanser - it is going down the drain after all. I'd rather keep the extra pennies for moisturisers. This was very informative Caroline, thank you. Love Cera Ve and La Roche Posay. Two of my go to brands for affordable skincare
Brilliant video thanks xx
Thank you for sharing. If you can say the name of the products 2 to 3 times or before and after each use. Appreciate it.
Sadly the BP balm didn’t work for me, so I stick with the No 7 version. Other than that, it’s CeraVe for face wash, moisturiser and hand cream, with a couple of Inkey List serums thrown in, the Skin+Me for my retinoids.
SOS Serum are a good brand. Fairly cheap and do some of the best sun cream
Oohhh I love getting all these tips back!!
Love Sali’s range! Do you let layers dry before putting on the next one? (For instance: Placid and MustC). Wish Beauty Pie was available in EU!
The sali hughes day cream would be better if it had spf
Are you aware that La Roche Posay and Cerave are not cruelty free?
😎👵❤
Why did Beauty Pie put the cream in a jar? The cream is great but a jar is a BIG no no for me!
Hi you were doing really well with cruelty free products until the Cera Ve. I find it such a shame. Perhaps as well as saying “this product is cruelty free “ you should be saying when one isn’t? Would make people think
Love Dr Sam. Her products are a complete corker
I got into the whole TH-cam beauty world looking for good affordable products so thanks for the update! Effaclar Duo I can't be without, it keeps my skin clear (it's got a salicylic acid in) & I use it under moisturizer as it's not enough on its own as my skin is pretty dry.
Other affordable products I love: cleansers; Boots no 7 melting gel, & your good skin hot cloth cleanser
The Dr Sam nightly and or brightly serums are a bit more money but contain a mix of good ingredients so would replace 3 or 4 other serums & is still v reasonable compared to the department store big brands, (I also love her lip balm it's sooo good I use every night & almost never need any other balm in the day)
I use the big bottle cerave lotion moisturizer it's so light feeling but so moisurising it beats much heavier products, a drop of squalane oil on top if I need it (last was superdrug brand). Superdrug simply pure hydrating serum is lovely & super cheap.
Best bargain must be the (about £7) Garnier Ambre Solaire Anti-Age Super UV Face Protection SPF50, light, soft, moisturising but non greasy (dupe of la Roche Posay)
Really looking forward to trying Sali's range,
Thanks again 🥰
