    OMG I'm so glad to see this video. I am the same shape as you and find it hard to get my legs on my horse. I am long on the body too and have tried to explain this to my instructor. I am an older rider and do have tight in my back and tend to bounce when trying to sit the trot, even transitioning from rising trot to canter.

      So glad my "not so dressage body" can help others. I have found Sylvia Loch and Mary Wanless to be the most helpful in organizing and understanding my anatomy.

      ​@@reflectionsfromthesaddle thank you for your reply. My horses name is Teddy too, mostly gets called Ted. He's an OTTB so is also on the forehand and hollows, so we are working on that.
