Chef Knife Sharpening Service - Chef Knives To Go?

While I can sharpen knives on my own pretty well, I still like to send my good kives out to have them sharpened professionally. CKTG did a good job. It was the first time I used this service and probably will again.

I used CKTG sharpening service for the first time last month, I sent them a stainless deba that had a convex bevel (Kiriba) from the factory.
I asked if they could grind it flat so I could then sharpen it properly going forward. They said no problem, I sent it in and it was returned to me with just a secondary bevel ground in on the edge. Not only did they make it worse but the tried to tell me that's how it's supposed to be.
Just admit it was done wrong, but the attempt at cover up is worse.
