A message of hope from employees at Pixar Animation Studios (with a special bonus clip at the end). It gets better. www.itgetsbette... Music courtesy of Geographer. www.geographerm...
The moment Woody came on, ugh, too many feels. Pixar has warmed my heart with its productions since Toy Story and now will forever warm my heart in all new, precious ways.
Pixar, thank you so much. I'm planning to come out to my father in a month, and I'm scared to death...but hearing your words of encouragement has just....I can't even explain how much those words meant to me. And hearing Woody, a character I've known all my life, just look me in the eyes and tell me I'll be fine...I know I will. I love you all. Thank you.
This whole video got me so choked up and emotional, but Woody at the end...That made me finally cry. I don't know why that was what tripped the trigger, but seeing that character that I've been attached to since as long as I can remember telling me that I will be okay somehow means even more to me than the normal people telling me the same thing. Strange how the mind works. I know it'll get better. I just have to let it begin. Thank you, Pixar.
Thank you so much, Pixar. I can't possibly say it enough. And I hope everybody watched until the very end! At the end of the day, who are you going to listen to - some angry, hostile, and ultimately very sad and lonely people fighting a losing battle for exclusion and hatred, who want nothing more than to bring you down to their level, until you're just as miserable as they are... Or Woody?
I burst into tears when I saw Woody at the end. Toy Story was one of my movies that I just watched when I was sad. I don't know what it did but it did something that cheered me up.
0:47 this woman came to my high school a few weeks ago as part of a series of speakers on media arts. she had some amazing things to say. this is an amazing series of videos
I saw woody at the end and started balling. I do not cry but woody was my childhood hero. Pixar, you are a group of amazing people. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
The very end made me cry so much. Toy Story was always my favorite movie growing up. I'm pretty secure in who I am, but for Woody to say it... man, it's just something else. Thank you so much for making this video.
Beautiful message. Made me tear up. Ive watched so many people I care about struggle with their identity and its just so nice to hear that their not the only ones.
You saved my life, my friends life, and no doubt countless others! Thank you for every thing you have done for us. Reppin my town saying "SENDING LOVE FROM LANGHORNE"
Thank you, Pixar staff! As a bisexual, this truly has touched my heart to tears! You guys made the greatest movies while I was growing up and now you are giving me a sense of hope that it truly does get better.
Even after finally getting through all of these confessions without crying like a total wimp, I can't help it. Every time Woody says those four words, *BAM* the waterworks begin.
: ' ) when they were talking about the show and tell, playing with his sisters doll etc. it reminded me that I had a Jessie doll that I used to play with : ) Thanks for the love Pixar
i cried at the last 3 seconds of the video... im only 15. and i grew up watching toy story and seeing woody on the screen again and saying that just makes me smile.
they is plenty of points in this video i can connect with them beacuse i have and sometimes do still feel like that, but the Trevor Project has given me hope. a few times in this vid i have cried, but the guy at 7:21 just made meburst into tears, i really do what that hug. thank you everyone who was invovled in doing this vid, your giving me hope much love
im straight and i know i am but i watch these videos and cant imagine how people can ever hate on anyone because of their sexuality... i apologize to anyone who has been bullied harassed or anything for who they are and i truly care
This is wonderful and made me cry loads. I think what the Trevor Project is doing is a brilliant thing to help young people, and not just those who are struggling with their sexuality, to get through a period of their life where they are made to feel different because they don't fit in perfectly. It's a fantastic video and how much, when the guy with a beard offers hugs, do you think "Oh yeah I bet you'd give amazing hugs!". Well done Pixar xxx
I used to be so cold and distant to the world... Never shed a tear... Now that I've found my soulmate I tear up at the least little thing... *sniff* Woody was a nice, cute touch. No one trigger, but it started when one said she was eternally grateful to the one that kept her from jumping off her dorm rooftop.
Amazing, I wasn't bullied for being gay but for being a tomboy and for being perceived as a Lesbian, which is any better or worse. Pixar inspires me beyond reason. They are the best.
As a straight eighteen year old girl, this is absolutely beautiful. Being gay is not a choice; it's a part of who you are. These people and the amount of strength they have is incredible and inspiring.
I'm straight, these videos are just so touching and inspiring. and toy story is a big part of my childhood so that made me smile at the end. very good Pixar! :)
wow pixar you are some amazing bunch of people; i may not need this video but there are so many people who do. You guys are amazing you made my favoirt movies when i was a kid and you really are good people.
I'm a straight woman but this just made me cry. I want to find someone out there that's gay become there best friend because I want to help them through this. I hate the fact that other people pick on them just because they aren't "normal". Seeing Woody at the end...that's inspirational. My childhood hero telling everyone it's going to be ok is just amazing! :')
This is good stuff to hear even if your straight and having trouble every one needs to hear the words you'll be fine every now and again. To quote churchill "if your going through hell keep going"
This video only furthers my desire to work at Pixar as an animator one day! Beautiful video! You're going to help a lot of people with this, putting Woody at the end was brilliant.
I'm so happy for all these people :D I prefer men, but I was bullied pretty badly in elementary and middle school so I understand that aspect. I hope they all have happy lives. At 5:22 I teared up. I'm actually a little jealous because so many found the loves of their lives and I haven't, but at the same time it makes me happy because I love knowing real love is out there. They bring so much joy to me with their movies, I support them all the way and wish them happiness
Damn it .... Now I gotta watch all Toy Stories from beginning to end lol This was a great video and Woody at the end, thought it was literally 3 seconds, got me. "You'll be fine partner." jeez I was tearing up!!!
@Superdoglac I'm proud of you and I'm glad you found the strength to tell those close to you about it. Good luck, and keep with that strong spirit--it's inspiring.
Hearing these stories about people who were on the brink of suicide, and were thinking that the life they were experiencing as being gay was not going to get better makes me realize how lucky one of my gay friends was when he told us he was gay. Yes, he had the people who immediately began to draw away from him and look upon him as different, but he was lucky that he could look upon me and a group of his closest friends and realize that there are people out there who judge on only character.
Even if I am "straight", I love seeing how people get support and are being understood. Little by little, I do hope people will open their eyes and start accepting people for being people... not because of what they like, but by who they are.
Such a lovely message! It does get better! I love this video so much! and I cried when I saw Woody because it is lovely to hear it from a character you have grown up with! :)
This whole project blows my mind. I couldn't imagine such an awesome thing 15 years ago when I was a suicidal gay teen... It's sad that hate still exists and torment continues but at least there is hope & it does get better.
This video is awesome! I may be straight, but SO many of my friends are gay, and I am a huge supporter. As a Disney World cast member, I am so proud of Pixar for doing this! 5:20 made me cry (so sweet!!), and oh gosh, Woody!!
i'm not gay, but i have 3 gay cousins, and 1 truly best friend that is bisexual and im a huge supporter of gays. seeing how so many haters and disrespectful people make others feel just because of what sex they prefer, truly astounds me. i cant believe that people could be so heartless. i mean, i knew that some people really didnt like the idea, but this is too extreme. pixar, ur outstanding! stay strong, keep faith, and know someone is by your side. as woody said "you'll be fine partner"
"You'll be fine, partner."
Four little words that mean so much
"Listen to your inner voice"
Nostalgia.
Thank's Woody. Thanks Pixar. This is a beautiful thing you're doing.
I just can't stop crying, because of Woody at the end. Pixar has been my idol for as long as I can remember. You guys are heroes.
THANK YOU WOODY

Woody makes me cry and gives me chills. Ahh so good.

I can’t begin to tell you how many times this video saved my life. Thank you, Pixar. ❤️
You guys have no idea how much a 19 year old me needed this so long ago. Thank you Pixar; it got better.
Pixar, thank you so much. I'm planning to come out to my father in a month, and I'm scared to death...but hearing your words of encouragement has just....I can't even explain how much those words meant to me. the last bit where woody talks at the end makes the whole video even better as it brings back happier simplier memories thanx pixer :)
Woody made me cry, too. I was nine when Toy Story came out and it just means so much to me.
Woody, you're the best!
;-)

Pixar, the love I have for you now is unbelievable, you people are amazing!

I'm literally crying now! This is so beautiful! Way to go, Pixar! Stay awesome!
I lost it at the part with Woody. He's been my friend for almost 16 years.
This is just the greatest thing humanity has ever produced.
You saved my life, my friends life, and no doubt countless others! Thank you for every thing you have done for us. Reppin my town saying "SENDING LOVE FROM LANGHORNE"

Coincidentally, I'm wearing my Pixar shirt. I cried through the whole video. Thank you Pixar. This means so much to so many people.
That was touching
Even after finally getting through all of these confessions without crying like a total wimp, I can't help it. Every time Woody says those four words, *BAM* the waterworks begin.

Thanx for this video and thanx for the many fantastic PIXAR movies, too 👍🤗.
Hearing these stories about people who were on the brink of suicide, and were thinking that the life they were experiencing as being gay was not going to get better makes me realize how lucky one of my gay friends was when he told us he was gay. I'm not gay, but it just makes me so happy that a major, million-dollar company supports this cause.
Even if I am "straight", I love seeing how people get support and are being understood. Little by little, I do hope people will open their eyes and start accepting people for being people... not because of what they like, but by who they are.
For some reason seeing Woody on that step telling me i'll be fine genuinely makes me feel better.
5:20, my favorite part.
Such a lovely message! It does get better! I love this video so much! and I cried when I saw Woody because it is lovely to hear it from a character you have grown up with! :)

woody:you'll be fine, partner.

You guys and gals are awesome. My love to you all and thanks for this very touching video. xo
Best of luck honey, we've all been there. Stay strong.

"I brought my sister's doll to show and tell."
Me too.
Though I was lucky enough to not have to hide it, even though I was tortured.
That Cowboy is the most powerful thing on the panet
I ain't gay, but that just teared me up... esp w/ Woodt at the end.
"Not everybody is Kurt on Glee." Yeah. Insert Blaine in there.
