I realized while I was editing that I somehow failed to mention that this palette is indeed scented. It's not quite as strongly fragranced as the Cinnamon Swirl palette I recently reviewed but it definitely has a cinnamon/generic holiday-ish scent!
If my mum wore makeup, I'd get this for her. She loves fruitcake! So much that one year my dad and I bought her one from the local specialty bakery. It must have weighed 10 pounds!

I hadn't noticed they have finally made all pans squares with the same dimensions. FINALLY! This being said I find these new mini palettes underwhelming. I love neutrals and the old releases look cuter I think. Plus all looks I've seen using the green duochrome look grey.
I had always kinda assumed they made the two shades on the left a different shape so it would be easier to understand the diagram on the back with the shade names. But I totally agree with you, I prefer the symmetrical pans.

I'm so glad you addressed the dryness and how it felt when you swatched the mattes. I have yet to use the palette, because every time I swatch them the dryness turns me off. I love the look you created today, so I'll definitely try it. It's nice to hear they perform well on the eye. Thanks!

Never bought a Too Faced palette and I never will. However, I am always here to see your excited reviews and experience the joy you get from these 🥰 Looking closely at your beautiful eye look, I think I could achieve something similar with the browns and topper green or blue shades from the Huda Python palette 🤔 Might try that later today. I'm also growing more curious about the Jaguar palette. Waiting to see I Viseart release a holiday palette next month, but if not or I don't like the story, might be asking hubby to get me the Jaguar. Would be the first black in my collection in years 🙈🤣

I just picked up this palette and the Christmas Coffee which is now on Ulta. I actually enjoy these minis normally. They aren’t ground breaking and they aren’t new color stories but they usually perform well and are good solid neutrals and these have a small twist. That’s what I enjoy in a palette. I’m definitely a basic, boring makeup lover.
I used to collect and love Too Faced but a lot of their palettes have been very warm tones and I can’t wear those. I’m waiting on something cooler toned In the mean time I have plenty of palettes to play with. I actually like fruit cake. I found a dupe for that color a couple years ago actually, urban decay Lounge. Too faced used to have one identical almost back in the day called Label Whore.

I do not know what it is about these palettes but they seem to get my attention every single time? Yes, I am 54 years young and should be more mature but I am not and that works for me? 🤷🏼♀️ 😂 In the 80’s I used a Maybelline 4 pan tiny eye shadow palette, 3 tones of gray (maybe 1 had sparkle) and a light pink. I don’t think I even used the darkest shade but I hit pan on the rest of them, quite often. I think that is what draws me to these tiny palettes? When I look at a bigger palette most of the time I am overwhelmed? I just recently within the last few months started watching TH-cam videos and discovered what a crease was and also discovered I had a big problem with a hooded eye and I needed to go above the crease that I just discovered as well? 😂 All in all I have discovered a lot of things that made it all more complicated. 😂 You don’t even want to get me started on concealer? 😂 Thank you for this, I am not sure this one is for me but one of them will be! 💗
I will probably get it. Lol. Amanda…I absolutely love my earrings. I got the ones with the three leaves and they are amazing. They feel very good on my ears and everyone loves them. Perfect for fall. I can wear all my fall colors and the earrings go with all of them.
I'm on the unpopular camp with fruit cake, I actually like it. Properly done, and I mean giving it several days to prep, it's very rich and delicious. Most commercial "fruit cakes" are just sweet breads with dried fruit. As far as the palette, I think I could dupe it with the warm tones of my (now depotted) wet n wild rose n the aiir with the duochrome of the wnw comfort zone. I still think the pretties 8 pan they've done is the that's my jam, but as the quallity seems iffy... I think it's cool that the duochrome is similar to wishful winking. It also reminds me of the now discontinued lounge single by urban decay
How does the Duo chrome green/brown Compare to the duo chrome greenish shade in the clover palette? I’m guessing the one in clover is more green/red. I really do like the green/brown in this one! Also, how does it compare to the ND mini star palette? Except the pink and red of course. I just love the shade of this green in the fruitcake palette! Very flattering on you!

I think this is a cute mini palette. Usually, if I pick any of these up, it’s when I can get them half off or close to it, as I think that’s a more appropriate price for them. Lol For this lil guy, it’s pretty much a neutral palette with that one duochrome. So I expected to see quite a few dupes. 😂 That part, though, I don’t mind because I like all the shades I’m going to use to be in one palette and if the color story and packaging speak to me, I pick it up. I am curious, though, if that duochrome is similar to the mini TF pineapple palette. There’s one in there that I think is similar. Do you have that palette? Anyways, thanks for sharing! 😊
I feel this palette shouldn't be themed after fruitcake...there aren't enough punchy colors. Browns can still be in there, because cake colors, but where are the greens, yellows, and bright reds that no one wants to eat...except the eccentric family members? Also, the "Forbidden Fruitcake" shade looks a lot like the duo chrome in the Sparkling Pineapple palette. Probably not a dupe, just similar. This seems like it'd be a great palette to have if you don't have other palettes from Two Faced. They have great formulas for a big brand, in my opinion...just need to get out of their neutral rut.
Sydney Grace has this same shade in a better formula (as a single) Mel named it Scarab in her Tiny Marvels palette but it is called Red Chameleon on the website for only $6.00. So you could save money just buying their single. 😊

Too Faced is so expensive. And their extra spicy gingerbread pallette from 2020 has definitely given me a reaction. either due to the pigments, or the scent.. every other time I use it. I also have the hot buttered run mini! Which I like better.
Cute palette but nothing outstanding to someone with a large eyeshadow collection. I do love your videos and I always watch to the end just for the funny outakes! “Good enough for government work” is something I say all the time and I too, am a government employee lol lol!! Great job!
I have heard the phrase "good enough for government work" on many occasions, but your comment that it's scary because your hubby works for the government made me snort laugh.
I think this could have been a regular palette instead of a mini. Too faced has done the cinnamon palette colors over and over. This could have been a surprise colorful palette. Fruitcake doesn’t just come in one color and the fillings aren’t all the same. But it would mean too faced would have to use their imagination and research. I think they dropped the ball on this one and missed an opportunity to do something within their cutesy aesthetic but going a little out there and doing something a little new. This will be the first year I don’t buy anything from the fall/winter collection from too faced.
That shade can be duped easy! Two options are: Sydney Grace's Red Chameleon for $6.00. or MAC's blue brown Pigment (You can get a small size for $10-12) for a lifetime supply! Either of these are better quality. 😊
I believe that’s in reference to the palettes in cardboard packaging. Tarte seems to have the same problem, also. However, the Too Faced palettes in the tins are usually good.

Why pay $27 for 5.6 grams of Too Faced quality when you can get a Natasha Denona, made in Italy, 5 pan palette with 12.5 grams of product at Sephora for $24? I just purchased the Camel and the Coral palettes. Way better quality and way better price.

I would definitely buy this if I was collecting the mini tins but I missed out when they were first released a few few ago so I will be passing. I really like it though and I love the theme and packaging. I also love a bit of fruit cake. lol.

I ordered mine this morning..I got this pallet and Xmas coffee. Colors are not necessarily uniques I just like the theme of it and adding it to my collection. I have to say my fave right now again not groundbeaking..cinnamon swirl pallet

I like the packaging more than the colors inside. I wish I would have gotten the pumpkin spice items. But also I'm still on the fence if I want to give this company any bit of my money.
As I already have Salted Caramel + Mac's Club (green to brown) eyeshadow, this will be a pass for me. I am liking Too Faced's Lady Bold red lippie for a holiday look and thanks for showing this one!

I think this is a cute mini palette. Usually, if I pick any of these up, it’s when I can get them half off or close to it, as I think that’s a more appropriate price for them. Lol For this lil guy, it’s pretty much a neutral palette with that one duochrome. So I expected to see quite a few dupes. 😂 That part, though, I don’t mind because I like all the shades I’m going to use to be in one palette and if the color story and packaging speak to me, I pick it up. I am curious, though, if that duochrome is similar to the mini TF pineapple palette. There’s one in there that I think is similar. Do you have that palette? Anyways, thanks for sharing! 😊
I feel this palette shouldn't be themed after fruitcake...there aren't enough punchy colors. Browns can still be in there, because cake colors, but where are the greens, yellows, and bright reds that no one wants to eat...except the eccentric family members? Also, the "Forbidden Fruitcake" shade looks a lot like the duo chrome in the Sparkling Pineapple palette. Probably not a dupe, just similar. This seems like it'd be a great palette to have if you don't have other palettes from Two Faced. They have great formulas for a big brand, in my opinion...just need to get out of their neutral rut.

Sydney Grace has this same shade in a better formula (as a single) Mel named it Scarab in her Tiny Marvels palette but it is called Red Chameleon on the website for only $6.00. So you could save money just buying their single. 😊

This palette gives me Comfort Zone vibes. I'll pass, but I think Too Faced is coming out with a mini hot cocoa palette that piques my interest more.
All the mini palettes i have bought have 8 pans. I didn't buy the last years, so maybe that's when they had the other shapes.

Too Faced is so expensive. And their extra spicy gingerbread pallette from 2020 has definitely given me a reaction. either due to the pigments, or the scent.. every other time I use it. I also have the hot buttered run mini! Which I like better.
You can compare the one shade to Glass Bull by ColourPop, as well. It must be an easy shade to create, because I've seen it everywhere
This is not at all similar to Glass Bull! GB is much lighter and entirely blue, no green in that one.

I have heard the phrase "good enough for government work" on many occasions, but your comment that it's scary because your hubby works for the government made me snort laugh.
I think this could have been a regular palette instead of a mini. Too faced has done the cinnamon palette colors over and over. This could have been a surprise colorful palette. Fruitcake doesn’t just come in one color and the fillings aren’t all the same. But it would mean too faced would have to use their imagination and research. I think they dropped the ball on this one and missed an opportunity to do something within their cutesy aesthetic but going a little out there and doing something a little new. This will be the first year I don’t buy anything from the fall/winter collection from too faced.
If love this if I didn't have all the colors in other too faced palettes. Ugh I can't justify spending more money on shades I already have. 😩

That shade can be duped easy! Two options are: Sydney Grace's Red Chameleon for $6.00.
or MAC's blue brown Pigment (You can get a small size for $10-12) for a lifetime supply! Either of these are better quality. 😊

I've heard that too faced holiday palettes are poor quality compared to their standard collections. Anybody have any thoughts?
I believe that’s in reference to the palettes in cardboard packaging. Tarte seems to have the same problem, also. However, the Too Faced palettes in the tins are usually good.

Why pay $27 for 5.6 grams of Too Faced quality when you can get a Natasha Denona, made in Italy, 5 pan palette with 12.5 grams of product at Sephora for $24? I just purchased the Camel and the Coral palettes. Way better quality and way better price.
