Shenandoah was actually sung as a sea shanty and is included in some of the popular collections recorded mid-20th century. It could be great as a bass-heavy arrangement.

I think like a good hundred years ago we lost something truly valuable, when music was turned from something we participated into something we consumed. His name was James White he was a data analyst apprentice at Rare the makers of Sea of Thieves. He died in i believe 2021 or 2020 he was said to be the most friendly person ever.

I didn't know the song, but I really like the arrangement.
It's from Sea of Thieves. The music was always in the game as a shanty that you could play on the instruments. In March 2020 however Jim White, a development team member at Rare passed away. They added a beautiful tribute in game for him and this is the new version of the song including lyrics.
When I hear this song, I smell the sea air and taste the salt water in my mouth. You don't just need talent to get to your level, there is a lot of hard work involved. Thank you for your excellent videos and I hope you understand my bad English too.
