I have thick hair & thick strands, majority is moderately coarse with some medium texture strands and some fine texture strands. Most of my favorite products have either been discontinued or reformulated(not working the same as before). My thought was you have fine, curly hair and I am opposite😊 Moroccan Oil is good brand as I like their Moroccan Oil Oil Treatment. AG Hair care and Ouidad also great brands. Your hair is definitely thriving from what you do and what you use as it just always so pretty!

I love the Ombre Première and I agree Chanel have been neglecting them. I have Silver Moon and I have not used it for years. I was a bit disappointed when it arrived as it is def. not silver or pink! Time to revive it , I do nit have Talpa but I can find a dupe and I do have a rephyr brush. I noticed your eyes as soon as I started viewing. Thanks for the tip , cannot wait to try it.
The eyeshadow combo is beautiful. I have a really hard time blending out the Ombré Premier formula; I’ll try using my Rephr 12 next time. I only have Patine Bronze because I accidentally screwed the lid to Silver Pink on wrong, and it dried out.
Funny that you mention Chanel’s cream shadows. I noticed on the Neiman Marcus site that it lists lots of new ones. Unfortunately, no photos 😔 Haven’t heard anything about them, so are they new or what?

Fellow curly girl here 🙋♀️ I spent time last year watching Manes by Mel (Hairdresser in TO.). I got myself a Denman brush, embraced my greys, added Ghost Oil and Olaplex to my cocktail of products. While I'm having more 'good hair' days than before, every day is different and I truly believe my curls are their own living being which, at times, I have zero control over! 😂
I’ve got curly hair that looks a lot like yours - I’m also half North African😊 I keep an arsenal of products because I can’t rely on my hair wanting the same treatment this week as last😅
Great video Allison. I always enjoy seeing your faves. I have a question. I have a lot of the Chanel Ombre Premiere eyeshadows that I am ashamed to say that I have let dry out. I tend to use my Mac Paint pots and Laura Mercier cream eye shadow sticks more as eye shadow bases before powder eye shadows. I used to use the Chanel Ombre ones also. Do you know how I can revive them. I tried putting them in the microwave- ha. I don't know if that was a great idea but it seemed to help. Did not smell great though. I love Dior blushes and lipsticks too as well as their shadows- also love Chanel lipsticks. I am hooked on the new Guerlain Velvet Matte lipsticks. I know you like them too. Just ordered another one today. My bad. lol.
Oh gosh!! haha do NOT microwave them!! Umm you could take some on the back of your hand and then mix in eye cream (the size of a grain of rice) to try to revive it. You could also try this with setting spray on your brush.
@@AllisonChase Yeah Allison, the Silver Pink I put in the microwave smelt burnt- bad idea. Thanks for the tips. I really want to be able to use them again. They are so pretty. I just had too many and let them sit too long. I did store them upside down which is supposed to help keep them from drying out.
Try adding inglot duraline. I add a few drops to any of my dried out cream shadows (Chanel, Mac, Dior, Burberry etc.) and gel liners and like magic they are creamy again. You can get it at beautylish, it’s inexpensive (you only need one to two drops) and works like a charm 😄
