The orchid on the mount with the purple flowers (from the guy that has the bird feeders) should be a broughtonia ; hybrid or maybe a species (sanguinea). I feel like I know these vendors so well just from watching your videos. I love that new Maxillaria variety, and the colors are right up your alley. The vine at the 37 min mark is a Cissus discolor. I had heard it was a little more difficult to care for as a houseplant, but I'm sure it would take off if you kept it in your green space. That Thai Constellation was such a good price compared to what they usually go for at that size. I figured Laz would be a Bulbophyllum, and he sure picked a spectacular one.
The vendors always tell me about people recognizing them from our videos. The synergy that works between vendors and TH-camrs is really something special. They are slowly becoming superstars. Lol!

Hi Angel. Yes you definitely can mount Myrmecophilas. But they do get very big. You can mount the mini Myrmecophilas. Like the white ones I showed in the fair in this episode.

Im on orchid buying lockdown. I’m holding back shopping for a while. I don’t want to over saturate my purchases. I rather go for the rarer orchids at the big shows.
What a FUN video! Enjoyed every moment. And, definitely agree with you that the SphagMoss brand is best for the orchids. Also agree with your observation of using moss with the phals. I've just remounted many using this moss from New Zealand.
That moss is the best ever! My phals are looking so amazing. Clay beads hydroponics is no good for phals. They don’t do well at all. Sphagmoss is the way to go. I like that it doesn’t stay wet for days. It actually begins to dry out within a week. So the roots are not always drenched in water.

Florida is the best! I truly am a huge fan of my state. I can’t picture living anywhere else. It’s not perfect, but it’s perfect for me. I’m loving in Aerides! It’s a new found love. I got my first from Krull Smith. It’s a houlletiana var. alba. What a fragrance in that orchid. And I’m starting to become a big fan of African orchids. Even tho they are all white, there is something so mysterious and unique about African orchids. I had no idea tea and rum was made from the orchid leaves. How do you know this? Are you from that area?
@@naturenel yes as I told you I’am French and Madagascar speak French and we have some few islands very known here it’s La Reunion 🇷🇪,Commorian islands the name in English of this area is mascarene islands and all those islands have the same orchids in La Reunion there’s 400 endemic orchids most of them are epiphytes or terrestrial 🌸 Something is so sad is that in less 15 years Madagascar will be without any forest,because every day they cut each forest because the ground is so riches! It’s sad
