Great video, lots of detail. I just purchased a hewescraft proV with the hard top. It arrives the first week of March. I live, I'm Tennessee. Thank you
I’ve got a 2020 pro v extended transom and the soft top on it allows to unzip at front and roll up to allow reaching for front cleat or to get more air flow when need be. Great boat! Always good to see how others outfit and rig their boat. Happy trails, tight lines!
Sweet boat Steve! You provided very helpful information about options and length of a watercraft. Things you might not think of when buying a boat. Great job!.
Yea they sure are nice boats. Size? If your going to ocean fish a lot and can afford, it I'd recommend at least a 21 footer. But nothing wrong with this one.
Steve, I’m envious that you live in OR and get to chase saltwater! I’m in the Great Lakes and currently looking hard at Hewescraft. Are you planning to post any bigwater fishing trips from this boat? Thanks, JB
hey boss...love this boat...if you don't mind me asking what the price range was, and does your friend have anyone like these. love it. love the color. love the honda's. only thing is the back doesn't have a nice livewell, but I like how it lays down in the back....just love the boat man.
Thanks Jamie, I bought this boat in 2020 when things were reasonable. Not sure what the price would be now. Call Clemens Marine in Eugene Oregon and ask for Dale he's a great guy. If there's one around he would know.
Curious if anyone has thought to move the batteries out of the bilge and under those bench seats in the cabin, especially since it's a wet bilge. Looking at this style of boat and that is absolutely something I will do if the dealer/factory won't
You make me laugh Otter Cat, it wasn't supposed to be a sales pitch. Nothing in for me, just needed some content to post. lol Thanks for the continued support.

Watching your videos I've been curious about your boat, so thanks for posting this.
Thanks Rick, so glad your watching.

Sounds like a great boat Chuck. I’m thinking about a tower and Radar addition.
Thanks for the tour of the boat, Steve. Have a great week.
Thanks, you too! Appreciate the support

Thanks for the tour Steve. I’m in the market for a similar boat any Huges or Alumaweld.
Your welcome and thanks for the comment.
Just ordered my pro v and can’t wait to get it in the water:)
Awesome congrats, you’ll love it
My friend Skipper has the same, his is a pro 180v, absolutely love these boats, these will be one of my next ones, it's just a question of size.

I absolutely love the Honda motors I get to use. Can't go wrong with a Honda.
Yep can’t go wrong with Honda.
Great boat Steve thanks for sharing this

Hey Jay, thanks for commenting. I have quite a few ocean trips from this boat, Halibut, salmon etc.
Nice Steve it a awesome boat and I like the color scheme.
Thanks Carl
Great video. Very informative, thanks for your time.
Thanks very much
that is one sweet boat! A used 2015? Someone (the guy who traded it in) has a lot of boat money floating around. Love the spray hose and ice chest!
Thanks Blake, the guy I bought it from took really good care of it. I've had it for 2 years now.
Nice video Steve
Thanks for making the video!
My pleasure!
If the chemical prep on aluminum for paint is not totally neutralized, it can contribute to the corrosion under the paint like you are seeing.
So that's a factory defect?
Beautiful rig Steve!
Thank you Calibear.
Awesome video and I will probably get something similar someday. But oof! 2MPG. I love my little Arima even more now haha
Thanks T Coastal

So why a Hewescraft and not a kingfisher or a Thunderjet. I am shopping now ,Did you look at all three
Didn't look at a Kingfisher because none close by, I liked Thunderjet a lot but got a good deal on the Hewescraft.
Great boat I fish with 210 Searunner up in Alaska
Thanks, the 210 Searunner is one I’d love to have.
Nice rig
Thanks
Nice video! So the elephant in the room IMHO what did you pay for that boat? I like to know how much I would have to spend on that kind of boat.
I recently talked to a sales person, he said because of low inventory prices are high. This boat would be about $55,000. Thanks for watching!
Does water get into the battery compartment? Look like the door does not have any weather seal.
The batteries are in a tray, the water filters down into the bilge. Never any problems
Curious if anyone has thought to move the batteries out of the bilge and under those bench seats in the cabin, especially since it's a wet bilge. Looking at this style of boat and that is absolutely something I will do if the dealer/factory won't
I'm sure that is possible, I have never had a problem - yet
Thats it ! Im buying one , and I dont even need it ! What a sales pitch !!! 😆#teamsteve

Does the propane heater you use fog the inside up?
No not all all
Do you tow with the tacoma?
Yes, tow's it great
Does your Tacoma pull it well?
Yes it does, I have had no problems what so ever even on a steep grade.
What is the height inside the cabin?
I’m 5’10” and I can easily stand up in it.
I have the same boat great boat for the price.
Haha, yes you do. Aren't they great?
24 years newer than my boat,
Powder coat the wheels
Umm, never even thought of that. Good idea
