Hi Victor, we are currently in the process of developing a product suited to the US market, which will open out in the opposite direction to accomodate the right-hand side roads of international customers. Rest assured this product is being worked on and will be released in the future.
Looks awesome. But If you are standing near stove and cooking something or cutting something you cannot reach a fridge. You have to make a round trip around "peninsula" of drawer unit to get to it. Or to have very long arms. Or somebody who will give you something from fridge. If you are standing near fridge - than you don't have an access to stove.
Yeah, but that's really just poor planning on the user's part. Pull out kitchen slide on fridge side. Remove needed ingredients from the fridge and place them on the slide. Extend the stovetop/sink section and cook. Even if you forget something, it's FOUR FUCKING STEPS around the kitchen slide - how lazy can a person be?
Hi Ashley, where are you based? It's probably best to contact a local dealer as there are different regulations and availability issues depending on where you are from. Let me know how you go and if I can assist further I am happy to
ARB's slide kitchen is available to be ordered at your local ARB store or stockist. You can find your nearest store at our store locator here: www.arb.com.au/contact/find-your-nearest-store/
Does anyone know what is used to allow the cooker to swing out ? I need to do that in my van as space is tight, but inside and want to know what hinge mechanism is used?
www.arb.com.au/contact/find-your-nearest-store/ contact your local dealer for technical questions, I hope you find the answers you are looking for, good luck!
If you put it in the back of a Troopy, wouldn't the swing out cooker hit the left side rear door? Or does the whole thing extend further when installed in a Troopy? Thanks.
That's a great question, I would suggest getting in contact with your local dealer as the fitters and sales staff will have more of an idea about model specific questions. www.arb.com.au/contact/find-your-nearest-store/
Great gear, keep going with those ideas!! To all those negative 30$ set up guys: give them a break! new ideas are the drivers of the technology to get better. Otherwise we would be still sleeping in the bush with two sticks and beaver skirt because its cheap and easy.
It baffles me that ARB hasn't come up with a non-carpet drawer system for those not wanting to have a canopy. Decked has it but it may not be compatible with ARB product line.
Hi Cristina, we're working on one that will slide out to the opposite side for our US customers, so that it will open out on the correct side of the road. No ETA on availability just yet unfortunately. Cheers.
Why not make a fridge to the same shape and place it alongside, in the other draw slider. Would make sense to have the sink and fridge together and frees up heaps of space.
@@Kiwi_Dave Yep it happens all the time until the guys in blue stop you and give you your big ticket and tell you have to leave half of what you load or your car is defective lol btw 89kg dry that is alot ..
@@ARB4x4Accessories when you guys get the kitchen setup here in the states I would love to be the first one. Lol. I am in the process building my 2020 Ford Ranger. I ordered and waiting on my ARB summit front and rear bumpers , ARB Solis intense fog lights , ARB light bar , ARB differential cover, ARB LINX system. I still have to order the twin air compressor, front and rear air lockers.and I’m going to just stick with ARB recovery gear as well. You see a trend that I’m going with ARB products. I have to wait to order the cargo drawers since my go fast camper won’t be ready until July or august next year. I’m wondering if you know how many rangers are decked out in ARB products in the states ?
Not available in the USA - at this time, this unit is only available to Australian and New Zealand customers. However, we are exploring options for the USA market, which would take all this into account :).
It's only available in Australia and NZ at this stage, hence the configuration. We are currently looking into developing a unit for our International customers :).
Hi Max, not into an existing drawer as this is a complete module that will fit alongside the Outback Solutions drawers and floor kits. The complete unit is $2795 AUD Australian Eastern Metro areas.
At this stage, this product is only available for customers in Australia and New Zealand. As we explore other markets, we expect a mirrored version will be developed :).
I don't care either way, cause I have a wagon & couldn't spare 3K anyway. But good on you ARB for getting into bat & defend yourself on the comments below. Don't see that from many suppliers.
I like it though it robs far too much of my storage space. Are you planning at designing one that will fit Wagons, like the 200 Series Landcruiser? Plus you should consider a right swing out version.
@@ARB4x4Accessories I hope you do release them. I currently have a Rhino Rack Batwing on the passenger side and my fridge & fridge slide on the left side. So I'd only consider this if you have a mirror version (ie. for the right side with a right side swing out). I'm sure this is also the ideal side for the North American market.
Can’t believe that it took them all this time to come up with this stunning unit

Slides out on the left side so you can use it on the side of the road... which is awesome, for people not in the US.
Pretty sweet setup for quick getaways!
3k and not even made in Australia ffs
Great design, I’m impressed ARB👍🏻
A couple of light stainless clip on wind guards for the stove would seal the deal. Great setup !!
Thanks for the feedback.
Definitely
Will there be a version for 900m
Common wagon size..
example 80 series or GQ etc
Do you have an estimated time on when this will be available in the US?
Great Design
I think they should make side wind deflectors that fold out from under the glass lid
An ancient innovation
Why don't you use an induction stove?
Would really love to test this here in Southern Africa!!
Hey ARB do you make one that swings to the right for left hand drive trucks
You need to add a pump faucet on that sink that draws water from a bucket or onboard water storage.
I would think they could find a small electric compressor to pressurize a water tank at this level of setup.
@@ryancappo just need 20 litres of water on your roof for each stop. Theres enough pressure for a flow tap.
What if you have a swing door that opens left?
At the moment, ARB's slide kitchen is only available for utes. A wagon-friendly version is certainly in the works though!
You guys are Genius.
You all ever going to make anything for the Broncos??
Game changer
very well. bring this kit to US, Arb!

Keen on your slide out kitchen. Can I option for an induction cooktop instead of the gas burner?
Hi there, we're in the process of looking into developing this idea further, however at the moment, only a gas burner is available.
@@ARB4x4Accessories nice ill keep a lookout. Ill have to tweak my build and leave room, hopefully its roughly the same dimensions
Any plans to make the kitchen available in the US?
Bloody Brilliant idea!!...Would you guys be interested in sponsoring one of these units to my channel?...cant hurt to ask I guess??

Any chance this thing will be adapted for wagons?
Great product but only opens to the left. For my truck (Defender), I would need one to open to the right. Is this an option?

I want to place an order but have it shipped to Cambodia
Hi, how does this kitchen work in a troopy?
Any plans to make this for Prado 150 length?
There are wagon options available, check out our website to see if your model has an option available
Great cool I like it where can we buy them good idea

Not for me but well thought product and most likely well designed too.
I hope it's also made in OZ with Aussie parts.
Great work ARB!

Have you guys thought doing a induction cooktop option for all the new electric vehicles that are coming out
We're definitely working towards an induction cooktop option! It's in development currently.
4x4 electric, WoW, love to see one kick butt going to the Cape and back, fully kitted for 4x4ing?
Very nice
Will this be for sale in America and will it fit a Tacoma short bed? Ill buy one right now if so.

How can you reach into the fridge if the opening is up at head height?
They’re not selling the units to people under 6 foot height.
Great love it .
Why can’t I get this in the US?
Looks good. The weight of the setup dry and the availability for the USA?
Good morning, while it is not currently available in the USA, the weight is 89kg dry.

Could there be a retro fit to a Black Widow draw set - ARB used to sell ‘em ?
Hello, this is a stand-alone module that fits alongside other ARB drawers. We have not tested in amongst other brands.
Looks really nice! Will you make one for export with kitchen going the other direction ... for countries driving on the RIGHT side of the road?
Hi Sanoy, This is something we are currently exploring.
A pocket rocket gas stove, hot sauce, Tequila and few bags of your favorite Mountain house food packs. Under $150 bucks.
I used to have that as well, but now I can afford this and it's so much better.
Awesome!
Will this be available in the US 🇺🇸 ? Thanks

Do you have one available for a JKU?
Can it work on vans
Brilliant
How much slide kitchen ARB please
Really love the idea. Has it been tested in windy conditions though??
We do test all our products, that being said sometimes when camping, the weather conditions are so bad there is nothing to be done!
Put a tent ontop! call it the new patriot camper "kor8" charge 45k...
What a ripoff!

What kind of Ute is that with a V6?
VW Amarok.
Over 3k installed , you’ve got to be joking .
WHAT! its more than the cost of an oak Delux kitchen I'm buying for my home WTF

Not unless you take the middle row seats out
Can we opt without a stove? Some of us already have a decent burner system.
Hey Phil, not in this set up, it is sold as a complete unit.
Why do Australian trucks have back to the future 2000 graphics?
Any word on availability to the US market?
It is something we are working on to achieve the required level of compliance in the USA for having a stove installed as a part of the kitchen set-up.
Is this available in the U.S.?
