I think this is very good if you can pull it off, but it is a MUCH harder shot to control, which is why it probably isn't recommended, as eliminating unforced errors is so incredibly crucial in padel. Also, aside from the possible errors, you are probably even more likely to simply make the lob too short if you try back spin.
@@TheRealBlueSwan Backspin lobs are quite effective but extremely difficult to hit with constancy from the forehand. Backhand lobs are different as backspin is much more natural. I use it all the time unless I'm hitting the lob from volley close to the net.
