For anyone who is scratching their heads about Pecharunt not been ‘released’ in Scarlet and Violet, I started researching and writing the script for this video around the time the DLC dropped and the only info there was about Pecharunt was from datamines revealing the Pokémon. So when writing up the script, I included the Spoiler Warning part only because the Pokémon was not official announcement and did want anyone to get spoiled about this new Mythical Pokémon. I think it was like a couple of weeks after this video was recorded, Gamefreak announced the update which included the mini Pecharunt storyline. Hope this clears up any confusion
Pokemon Go's overly simplistic combat system will not be kind to most of these Pokemon. Most of them rely on abilities, move effects, or in-game transformations, which Go doesn't have.
@@YkDaGoatX in battle, Roar of Time works like any other move. Besides increasing/decreasing attack or defense there are no other in-battle effects on moves besides damage and charge generation. Compare this to the console games which have very complex moves such as Trick Room or the many moves which will/may cause status conditions, just to name a few
Mentions of abilities and items have been datamined sooooo I will quit pvp if they make intimidate good. No physical special split is brutal with intimidate.
@@Cluckenstein sure but even if they actually add them they'll still be watered down from the console game abilities. And you're right about the physical special split too I didn't even mention that

Very true - some pokemon are not good without abilities
to be fair with Terapagos, the Primal forms and Zygarde complete also worked the same way, the primals only transformed in battle if you had a red orb for groudon or a blue orb for kyogre equipped to it, and zygarde complete was created by combining 100 zygarde cells but you still only got the 50% form, you had to get it down to half health then it would transform mid battle only, so i could definitely see terapagos working like a mega or a permanent form in go
Currently it’s coded to have these moves: Fast: Bite Low Kick Sucker Punch Charged: Dark Pulse Foul Play Play Rough Power-Up Punch Moveset might change upon release though
@@EpicEvan5cool. Thanks for providing the details. I have a feeling that on release it will have poor moves but it will have a CD later on. Typical for any decent 3 tier pokemon.
If Mighty Cleave has insane stats like Sacred Sword, it could easily push Iron Boulder into being the best overall Rock-type in the game. Nothing is probably ever going to surpass Shadow Rampardos in raw DPS, but Iron Boulder will most likely have significantly higher TDO to make up for it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Terapagos will work like mega evolution and will either grant increased stardust from all catches for a brief time (3hrs, once a day) and/or will grant the mega dmg boost to all allies in battle when sent out (regardless of type). Similarly it will likely be the ONLY pokemon capable of using the stellar type via its charged move "Tera Starstorm" which will similarly hit all pokemon for super effective damage and always benefit from weather bonus.
The rest of Gen 8? Where are our Sobble, Grookey and Scorbunny at? Also, where is Galarian Corsula and its evolution Cursula at? Where's the rest of the Galar dex? What about the other Galarian Legendaries? I hope they be added soon, I hope
Always bringing relevant, informative, interesting news. Oh btw, the interview with BTan was awesome great interview, hope for more with other big names.
Awesome. Thank for so much for taking a look at what to expect next in Pokemon Go. I've been patiently waiting for one of the top PoGo TH-camrs to do this. This is fantastic.
on the side note walking wake also learns aquatail i beliveve which is better version of regular palkia it might be in pvp (incase it also learns outrage) at 1st debute
Since Generation 9 starter debut at first than Generation 8 starter so next year i expect we have community day for Generation 9 starter. On January 2025 Spiragatito community day. On March or April or May 2025 Fuecoco community day. On July or August 2025 Quaxly community day.
7:15 it's not double weak to psychic, psychic types are resistant to psychic type moves, so in the end this pokemon takes neutral damage grom those attacks.
Random question but how does everyone keep playing the game after not getting any 3* or hundos or shundos during events like com day and raid days??? I’ve been playing for 3 years. No hundos or shundos. It’s depressing and addicting to keep playing. Im not sure what to do… I want to keep playing but no waste my time…
"Okidogi has a unique type" Woah! What did Coragunk and Toxicroak do to you that would justify being so mean towards them? xD They may not be suited for Master League but Toxicroak can perform decent in Ultra league. Plus: Sneasler basically got the same type combination (being Fighting / Poison). ^^
Honestly, pokemon gave the Loyal three quartet a huge middle finger, first with their names. (By the way pecharunt is available on scarlet and violet) And by the fact that they DIED while fighting ogerpon, not just fainted. But straight up DEATH , against a Pokemon with a type *ineffectiveness*
Terapagos is based on the last male Galapagos tortoise, called lonely George. Terapagos can be both male and female but it has a 100% male rate in the terastal caves because of this fact
1. When was this video recorded as pecharunt has been released in the DLC epilogue. 2. Some of these pokemon are very unique so interesting how pokemon go handles these 🤔 pokemon go's battle system is still simplistic 🤷♂️ terapagos's situation is interesting it automatically transforms to its trastalistal form when it's out & yeah...we don't have the steller type even 🤷♂️ 3. Paradox pokemon are basically confirmed as either from past & future or alternate timelines yeah...🤷♂️ interesting bunch of pokemon. 4. Sinischa line are basically from a new group of pokemon introduced in scarlet & violet which are pokemon's version of convergent evolution (creatures that aren't related to each other but they look similar). Scarlet & violet introduced interesting set of pokemon 🤔
Pokemon Go needs to go away from that 9% nerf that happens to mons over 4000 CP at level 40. It hurts a lot of true hard hitters and makes it where some pokemon seem stronger than others when its clearly the case strictly because they were nerfed. Pokemon are over 6000 CP with megas and primals at this point, so I dont see a problem with releasing that 9% nerf to stats
Wouldn't most of the dlc pokemon want a charged move of their secondary type for pve and possibly for PVP. I feel like this is especially true for non legendary from the dlc.
ther will be only 1 dragon ill beat ray if we can get it ehatbwill be Eternamax Eternatus we will get Eternatus but as for it Eternamax form i dont think so as we did not get it in the game

WELL DONE!!! FlareBlaze 🔥🙌🔥

im guessing catching glimmora = terastal energy?
yeahgain tera energy from raids and maybe it has an adventue effect that increases stardust gain or something
Trading shiny lickitung or shiny Kyogre for shiny squirtle
Glimmora has zero relation to terastal energy@@duckymomo7935
Grimmsnarl is going to be disgusting if it gets the right moves. Dark/Fairy has so much potential in pvp
Currently it’s coded to have these moves:
Fast:
Bite
Low Kick
Sucker Punch
Charged:
Dark Pulse
Foul Play
Play Rough
Power-Up Punch
Moveset might change upon release though
Hope its good. Loved using it in pvp in sword and shield

none of those charge moves are that good anyway in terms of dpe
Applin is based on the wyrm(worm) which is a dragon 🐉
And hydraple is a hydra
Hydra in a apple
Actually ogerpon's signature move changes types depending on the mask it wears.
Ogrepon? That's based on an Ogre right? So what the heck is an Ogre?
You not seen an orge before?@@sigisoltau6073
Dont you mean ogre pour on 😂😂
@@sigisoltau6073It's spelled Ogerpon in the game

Oh my bad
Btw if you didn’t know Applin is a dragon type because the creature inside the apple is a Wyrm and that’s why it has the dragon typing
Very interesting

Ya that could make sense!
Shouldn't they release pokemon that are still missing from the previous generation first
The rest of Gen 8? Where are our Sobble, Grookey and Scorbunny at? Also, where is Galarian Corsula and its evolution Cursula at? Where's the rest of the Galar dex? What about the other Galarian Legendaries? I hope they be added soon, I hope
We have something to look forward for in 2030 i guess
Always bringing relevant, informative, interesting news. Oh btw, the interview with BTan was awesome great interview, hope for more with other big names.
Glad you enjoyed it!
8:34 actually pecharunt is available in scarlet & violet, you just need a special item to get it
ya this was shot before it was
0:40 it’s called CONVERGENT evolution. Two separated species that just share “physic similarities”
Awesome. Thank for so much for taking a look at what to expect next in Pokemon Go. I've been patiently waiting for one of the top PoGo TH-camrs to do this. This is fantastic.

Okidogi has a unique type that may have some play in the ultra and master leagues

Terapagos looks promising if it gets a proper fast move, but it doesn't have any good fast move besides Zen Headbutt and Take Down
Applin is a dragon-type because it is a wyrm (a type of dragon in some European mythologies). It’s a pretty good pun - a wyrm in an apple.

Those new poison types look really nice. Finally some new poison types, too bad they did not give them more bulk
Agreed
I thought the dory line were references to David Bowie Hunky Dory lol
Did we miss the non DLC paradox pokemon?
@PokéDaxi do you think Snom and Frosmoth are coming to the game soon ?
Maybe who knows
Awesome. So much will we have to pay to get them? How big is the paywall going to be?
Hydrappl is going to be interesting in PvP
Agreed
Out of all of these I would be most excited for Okidogi
Once Hoopa gets hyperspace fury, I’ll run my maxed Zygarde with Grimsnarl.

Gougin fire and Walking wake loks awesome !! :)
Have you done a video on the other paradox pokemon like roaring moon and iron juggulus?
yes here - th-cam.com/video/DeFXOzQ_6FU/w-d-xo.html
Raging Bolt looks sick I hope it releases to pokemon go very soon , it's just massive!
Funny how Pokémon go has gen 9 pokemon before gen 8 pokemon.
Where can I get consistent event updates. Love the game but nearly impossible to keep up with
Here before the title correction
shhhh
I am interested in tera coming to pokemon go lol. Dialga tera poison into xerneas 😂😂😂
Gonna be waiting until next yr for Gen 9 to start appearing more often
We still haven’t gotten the rest of Galar dex entries, seems like we can expect paldea dex completion like two years out from now
Yeah, we need the rest of Galar dex, especially for the Pokémon in the first part of the video tbh
Makes fun of the only legendaries of the DLCs to have at least decent Lore
Loves Raging Bolt
'Kay, I know who to ignore
You've actually been able to get Pecharunt in Scarlet& Violet since a month or 2 ago
they were serious with the names of the loyal three
Love ur videos
Very informative ❤❤
I laughed a lot at 5:00🤣🤣🤣
I am still surprised at this
maybe the pokes get their signature moves so they could be really good with those attacks
I’m so confused. Pecharunt is in scarlet and violet and has been since feb

Anyone know where to get event updates without spam
Love the game but I find myself quitting Bc I cant keep up
I just want gen 8 pokemon 😭😭 hatterne is all i want
I wish Niantic wasn't so slow to release new pokemon
They release like 1-3 at a time and are basically always paywalled
Apple Worm is a wurm is a dragon?
Cobalion paradox looks very ridiculous 😭😭, what have they done. Poor cobalion
Drapplin is a dragon the same way Mushu from Mulan is a dragon lol

Hey can someone tell me why cant i trade shiny regice under 20k dust from my alt into main if i have registered a normal regice already
both accounts need the shiny registered for the stardust to be low

I'll nickname mine Artichokey

I think eternatus can take the number 1 overall dragon type over ryquaza
it was already released dude
7:14 munkidori inst even weak to psyhich its neutral
How you know this yet?
an apple a day doesn't keep the rayquaza away.
I need TinkaTon and Duraladon in pvp
I will wait for eternatus first.
Galar need justice
Indeed, where are our Galar starter at?
Ogerpooron. Bro stop money shaming
Your item bag is full of items who can I spin pokestops
hope soo
Is this really gona be in pokemon go?
Anyone think ultra necrozma will overthrow mega rayquaza
Why not base their movesets off the ones they ACTUALLY use on the SWITCH? the Wi-Fi battles clearly show the moves they have, why not showcase that??
Are these guaranteed
cant wait til we get these in 2027 😊
