At least some sound doctrine. Predestination is a topic that's frowned at by our Kenyan pastors.
I think it is the will of God that all be saved, but it is the rebellion of men that makes God disregard them. Esau was hated, not because he was Esau but because of the unrighteous character that he allowed to develop within his heart. God loved Eli, but Eli decided to sin before the Lord. The Pharisees were not vipers because they were Pharisees, but rather because of the sinful way they acted and spoke towards God and men. God does not hate men. He hates the sin that they tolerate in their hearts. That is why he says, "Touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you". The Lord said to Cain, "Will you not be accepted if you do what is right?" The love for sin and the world is the problem. God cannot accept men who love and tolerate darkness within them. God is always calling all men to Himself, but will not force them to come. All men must make their own decision to follow Jesus. "Choose this day whom you will serve" .........for "Today is the day of salvation".
