Quality and really helpful video ! Thank you !
Thank you! I’m glad you found it useful 😊
Yeah absolutely. After a very short while of owning this camera, I realised that my only use for the ND’s is really for on an FPV drone… and then I’ll stabilise in Gyroflow in post. For any vlogging or random run and gun stuff, the stabilisation looks so much better without them!
Indeed! The footage still looks very impressive even with a cranked shutter. And you can still use ND’s of course but I’d restrict it to static shots and to be fair your typical panning shots can work too. It’s just highly noticeable when you’re physically moving.
I haven’t explored the FPV world yet and not sure I have the hand eye coordination 🤣
@ Yeah completely agreed! No need for them if you’re walking around. I was trying to shoot at the “correct” shutter speed (or close) on the first couple of videos I made about it…and then realised that was dumb idea for the vlogging and walking.
Haha! I’m sure if you got a hankering to try it, then you’d be fine after some practice!!
Yeh sometimes ‘having to adhere’ to the 180 degree rule is exhausting 🤣
Oh I don’t know about that! I still crash mavics! 🤣
@ Yeah it is! 😅 mostly useful for motion blur and maybe less mobile phone style sharpness. I’m finding it does a good job anyway!
It happens to all of us at some point 🤣 even with Mavics! I flew the Avata2 straight into power cables the other day. Got covered in mud and lost the top hatch cover thing. As they say with FPV: if you’re not crashing, you’re not flying! But might get attacked by vicious squirrels (or geese) whilst wearing goggles 😅
🤣 That is quite a funny visual!
nice film dude....ps your funny!!!!
Ha! Thanks, much appreciated 😊
saw a lot of video for settings in dji 5 and your vid is the most understandble of them all.please make a video about using the default video mode compared on using supernight mode on low light condtions, please also give best settings for it. And can you please tell me whats the difference on 4k/25 fps and 4/k 60fps and whats best theyre used for and what are the pros and cons. thank you! Subbed!
Thank You! I’m glad you found it useful 😊
Yes I have a few videos planned with this camera so stay tuned 😊
The difference between 4k 25fps and 4k 60fps is basically the ability to slow the footage down when editing to give you nice slow motion footage. Essentially the 25 means it’s taking a photograph 25 times in one second which then when played back creates a video. 60fps is the same but now the camera is taking 60 photographs for every second. These photos are called ‘frames’ in video. Which is where the term ‘frames per second’ comes from. So 25fps is just standard, so you won’t be able to slow this down without it looking glitchy. This is because our eyes view the world at about 24-25 frames per second as well. So by filming at 60 frames per second it means you now have over 2x as many frames in the same 1 second clip as one filmed at 25fps. So you can slow it down by 50% and still have at least 25 frames in a second to allow your eyes to see a fluid motion video.
Sorry does that make sense!? Hahaha
In short 25fps is for standard playback for video. And 50, 60, 100, 120fps capture more frames per second to allow you to slow the footage down and it still look fluid when played back.
Obviously the higher the frame rate the more information is captured so the file sizes would be larger too and you may run out of space on your card quicker.
I hope that helps!
@@TheCreatorsBlock I see.youre really informative. I was hoping that you would reply about it in a future video but there you are explaining it well. Thank you so much. more power to your channel!
When i have the mimo app on my phone and download the videos i recorded onto my samsung it says the video is not supported and shows me a black screen, is there any reasons to this?
Oh that’s weird, sorry I’m not sure why that is. All I can think of is your phone doesn’t playback 10-bit footage perhaps? Sorry I’m not sure really. One of the reasons I ended up switching my phone back to apple from Sony if I’m honest. I feel Android phones have their weird quirks whereby something is just not compatible with something.
If you sort it let me know 🤣
Or if I somehow find out why I’ll let you know!
6:09 well i disagree on that point believe me its worth to play with these setting manually especially outdoor if you don’t have an ND filter on, you just need to mess around until it looks good 😊 or you will get a overexposed image the sky outdoor is hard to handle to get it right in post afterwards so i really recommend to change the settings manually every scene you shot then you be able to achieve some incredible footage so you wont regret its just afew clicks you look at the display and scroll the settings until u got it right not alot of work
To be honest, do whatever’s best for you! Whichever gives the results you’re happy with 😊 This is just the way I like to do it with this particular camera.
I have tried manually exposing and just cranking the shutter which does work for controlled environments, so yes if you can manually expose for certain shots and if it’s not too much hassle then yes of course!
However I find outside the light is forever changing and I just kept having to fiddle around on a tiny camera with no dials or a variable ND to tweak the exposure, it just isn’t worth it for my workflow with this camera. I’ll leave it to the big boys like my LUMIX 🤣
