- Metal detecting and digging at a cellar hole we have been finding all kinds of cool stuff. We started out in the old dirt road where there was a spill of Hem weights lost some time back in the 1800s. We made our way along the rock walls all the way up to the cellar and started digging. Old bottles and relics left and right and some of them awesome. One was a bottle from the late 1800s. Mrs Winslows soothing syrup which was marketed to calm small children but the stuff was deadly and became known as the baby killer......whoa! Metal detecting old places like this you always find a lot f different stuff with all the history we have here in New England.

the hem-weight spill reminded me of that old Beatles song, "Why don't we do it in the road"
Nice bottle find Charlie
Glad you got some cool finds Waynos!
Waynos I'm glad you were persistent because that clasp is the most beautiful thing I've seen come out of dirt!
The incidentals, glass button and crock lid, were just as cool as the hem weight spill. Well done Charlie!
Great bottle ! We used JD on our kids. Grew into health adults !
LFOD !
Hi StealthDiggers Waynos and Charlie, beautiful , cool pieces were found on this trip. Excellent job. Till next Thursday…….Joyce❤️🙏🇺🇸
Thank you Charlie and Waynos for the adventure , seeing some amazing finds especially the Hem weight spill and the clasp thing !
Waynos is the master detectorist. The best.
My son says the same thing he’s 11. Love the waynos videos.
Thank you both..give your son a high five from me
Dig everything.
Could have been a bottle opener, paint can opener, screwdriver. (multi-tool) I have one.
That bottle is a really neat piece of history 👍🏻
So someone lost their skirt at the bottom of the hill ! 🤔
Arte Nuevo lady design w it’s flowing hair
Art Noveau buckle
That's exactly what that is! That's a phenomenal find! Especially finding both halves!
Is that a mosquito net around your head?
Yes...the bugs were bad this year
Grandma got ran over by a rain deer
Let’s go, let’s go treasure and adventure💕🌺✌️👵
Amazing find Waynos!!!!
That was great.
Thanks for the great video as always Charlie! 😊
That would have been Jill😮
Brilliant job lads bingo's get in you legend s
Or maybe she spilled her sewing basket.
Nice sash buckle Waynos!! Nice glass button Charlie!!
I think the bottle is uranium glass, mildly radioactive, hit it with a black light to fluoresce . nice finds !
The black glass button is called a mourning button as it was usually worn on a widows mourning gown.
The buckle you found is actually part of a bit. Horse tack.
Those hem weights must have been a lost garment, maybe fell from a wagon while moving.
would you guys like to come to virginia or maryland
Great hunt boys … that Medusa piece is awesome
That glass button was very pretty.
Reminds me of my Civil War Eagle infantry cuff button spill. That had 8 the day I dug it but I later found a 9th
Awesome stuff, guys...! Waynos, that two-piece buckle is Beautiful...! Charlie, that small crock lid has a notch for a spoon handle - jelly jar lid...? And that bottle...! WoW! .....and, that Ring ...! Hey, let's re-visit that site...!
Waynos- I’ve dug similarly shaped containers- about a half dozen. Couple of them still had print on them. SNUFF containers!
Waynos…with BOTH sides of the dress sash buckle!?!?!?!?! I’ve only ever found one side, or the other side…in spite of searching in the area.
Really great hunt, guys…a great "watch and learn!"
Thanks again for a great trip into the woodlands!!!I'm subbed..
what happened to Dame and Nate
Unique fines this time.
Holy cow I never would've believed it if I didn't see it myself. I found that very same Medusa looking buckle piece. I didn't get both pieces to it but still she's a keeper. I researched it back in the day and found the meaning of the face I can't remember off hand who she represents (there's a story behind it) because it was a good 10 years back when I dug it. Without digging through my Victorian buckle halves to check it I am 100% sure it's identical, well to one half of yours anyway lol. Good job with digging through the iron that's the only way you can recover things at so many good sites. It's hard to believe but too many hunters will walk by these iron trash sites. I think all they care about are the coins.
But the the irony (no pun intended there) of people leaving iron targets in the ground is that so many iron targets are nice keeper relics. At least one positive comes from those coin shooters walking right by is that they won't be cleaning out those sites anytime soon lol
What a bunch of nice finds. Love the broach and the hem weights. Thanks for sharing!!!
That circle you found with the spoon was from the hub of a wagon wheel. Horse drawn wagon. Thats more exciting than a spoon.
Charlie - That's crazy - 6 hem weights all together. Wayne awesome find on the 2 pieces of the woman.
Awesome stuff guys!!
HH!!
I wanna see the falling spoon montage more. Why have you stopped doing that.?. Awesome day out there!

Congratulations Waynos! Outstanding matching finds. Crazy bottle find Charlie
very nice Happy Halloween!
What is a hem weight used for?
They were sewn into the bottom of ladies dresses to keep them in place and not wind blown.
@@randallalan4221 oh Thank you..I’ve never heard of them before. I love learning
We need a spoon toss!
Does Waynos ever contribute with new places to hunt, are does he just ride on your skirt tales.
