    Wow, Buddy. I've never seen terry cloth or any cloth in that stage. That's brilliant. Can't wait to try it. Shine on....

    Like they say one person's trash is another person's treasure! You could use a classifier screen to collect those broken points. I love how the clearer ones look like wet ice chips, they are awesome. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.

    Tumbled or rough stones are both beautiful in there own ways, it's just your preference of which one you love most. I myself love both ways! Lovely quartz! ❤️😁

    I do this with all my broken quartz! Love how the clear stuff comes out, like ice!

    They are beautiful. Hadn't thought to polish them. Wire wrap time 😀💕💗💖

    I think they turned out lovely. They are super clear and smooth. They really are gorgeous! I especially like the smokey quartz pieces. They are just so gorgeous! I've seen people who have tumbled pieces before and used them decorations or jewelery. Whatever you do with them, i know it will be something that honors the beauty and depth of the crystals, because they deserve it! The sound of them in your hand or under it, is an amazing sound! Thank you so much for sharing.

    amazingly pretty... clear. unlike homogenous glass, they have their inclusions typical for quartz. even the natural cracks, not to mention if you have the ones with crystals within crystal, are pretty. if you could facet or cab them into pendants...just a suggestion.

    Thanks Nate. You inspire me me to tumble the stones I've been collecting for the past 2 years. Can't wait to see the beauty inside these stones.

    I'm not sure if I like tumble over lapidary cabs.. I will be checking.
    I enjoy the video Nate. I'm just pushing forward.

    I think they are pretty tumbled, but I think I prefer them in the natural form broken tips and all 😆

      @@QuestForDetails thanks. I have the california rockhounding book and it has a pretty good map in it to get black needles and mahogany needles.

    Ok this might be weird but why do the polished stones sound different from the unpolished when they are hitting / clinking each other.

    • @QuestForDetails

      yes 100 % you can hear and feel the resonation is increased dramatically, the roundness sustaining the wavelengths .....

    • @QuestForDetails
      @QuestForDetails  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have been tumbling quartz but it keeps coming out flat, no shine. I tried polishing it for two weeks but still flat. What was the cloth material that you used? Any suggestions? Thanks
