I enjoyed the video. Would like to see DHCP instead of static IPs because that is what the documentation pushes you for vsphere installs. Some personal comments: - The commentary was kind of annoying at times because some of it was unrelated or was making side comments trying to be funny. With 2.5hr videos I mostly want to see the meat and not extra commentary or the constant chat interruptions. - An updated video with 4.5 or 4.6. A majority of this is now automated would be cool to tie it all together. please take those as a grain of salt. It was great to have native English speaking walkthrough this detailed on youtube for free pop up when I did a search.
Hello! We recently talked about disaster recovery for all install types and platforms in episode 96. The short version is to focus on workload disaster recovery, i.e. being able to redeploy the applications - along with their data - to a new cluster using YAML and not attempting to recover by restoring etcd's database to a different cluster. whenever I try UPI with OVA, node fails to boot up sayin ioctl failure.. when using this mix method baremetal + vShpere infra, it works like charm.
