I was so confused for a second I was like how did Poshmark not authenticate first if you spent $500 but I realize you actually spent under $500. I just got my favorite mm authenticated and it should arrive today. In the future maybe ask seller if they will up the price so you qualify for authentication if the difference is small like in your case.
The replica is not the best but it’s not bad either. Another thing to note is what you had pointed out-the engrave on the inside of the charms. The screws are still wrong, but what you said is also incorrect when authenticating a new edition dior saddle. The engrave of Christian Dior on the inside of the handle charms only applies to the vintage saddle. Otherwise they are a slotted flat head screw 😊 hope that helps anyone

I didnt realise that applied to the 2018 newer re-issue .. i have a vintage John Galliano CD saddle which has the embossed monogram on link / charm which is completely different in design .. bigger area to stamp logo ... I think the screws on the newer saddles do look cheap ... They should have definitely done better for designer bags at that price point

It's Poshmark's fault for not preventing the sale of illegal counterfeit bags on its platform. I have no clue what a Dior bag should cost, but Poshmark is making money from every sale on their platform, so Poshmark has a responsibility not to allow illegal sales. Plus people are buying POSH stock, so they need to get their 💩 together and stop profiting from the sale of illegal goods.
I just bought my Dior bag, from official Dior store and behind the CD I also have two screws just like at yours. Back looks very close to original, but the strap is 100%. Fake

Apart from the missing embossed emblem on the back of the charm link ...no one is going to be able to tell its a dupe ... & unless your a rich a person ? Who the hell can afford these luxury items ? I have one authentic CD saddle ... thats enough for me ... There are plenty of great quality beautifully designed leather handbags that are below $400 mark ... Id rather have a collection of options

I know it's real and have all the information in the LV system and dont need them coming and saying it's fake so they can keep it. I heard theyll keep items that are real and resell them.

You can tell immediately that it's a fake based on the handle. The authentic has a very stiff handle that doesn't bend easily, this one has creases from being bent.
If you buy something for less than what it's selling for selling for 1st and foremost Don't expect a 100% qualithree percent quality when you did not go in the store and pay for it if you want something with quality go to the store and buy it because you have the identity to put it up like papa like you bought it from a store Your standard is low Wear the bag with pride and be happy if you can not afford the store bread and stop complaining
If your buying ANY designer item on Poshmark or Mercari you need to have it authenticated through those companies. If not, your getting scammed with fake merchandise.
Mercari doesn’t I encounter fake paying retail price for a LV wallet. Really good knockoffs. What threw it off is the LV box she shipped it in with a barcode. Uh LV doesn’t do that and the box is not the same tone. Mercari only authenticate the pictures. With eBay and Poshmark anything over $500 will be processed thru another department by them who authenticate them in person from the seller than ships to the buyer. Will never buy Luxury from Mercari. But a Dior bag for $485 that should have been an alert! We all go thru these scams.
The same thing happened to me with a Fendi bag on Posh. I wrote customer service before the seller shipped and they told me that Posh doesn't support any fakes and if I got the bag and could send them photos proving it's a fake they would have let me return it to them. Did you contact them?!
it was a long time ago but yes they resolved the issue immediately for me and i got my money back! i think i did the same sending pictures; there was so much evidence it was fake
