One of my favorite parts in the entire series. I also really liked Wit and Shallan's conversation in Kholinar after his story of Mishim. Wit is just so well written.
I had the honor of directing this scene with Chris Davenport. As far as I'm concerned, Chris IS Wit. I also have the highest praise for Robert McDonald, who composed the entire flute solo. Robert is an amazing sound designer.
While I'm here, I might as well ask: If you have any power in this, would you consider having Chris as the narrator for *Tress of the Emerald Sea*? The entire book is meant to be narrated by Hoid (Wit), and I would be quite upset if it wasn't actually narrated by him.

I may or may not be stealing this story for a D&D campaign. Party is going to enter the dream world to rescue a young girl, her dog enters the dream world with them. They'll have puzzles to solve based on his three goals, if they choose to use speak with animals (Which I'm anticipating since the druid spams that spell for any situation) the dog will give an abridged version of the tale, the girl they're saving is the one he rescued from the well. If the dog survives to the end of the dungeon and reunites with the girl he'll actually turn into a dragon to help the party fight the big boss before returning to normal in the real world.
@@bjwessels Eh they were too obsessed with keeping the dog safe because it was a talk dog. They refused to put the dog in the harness and lower him into the well. So I ended it with once the dog and girl were reunited he changed, and they rode him to get out of demiplane, but it didn't have the impact I was hoping for. Was still a fun session.

Gotta say I agree, Dylan Lynch was the previous narrator for the GraphicAudio Stormlight books and I wish he had been available for this one too. Terrance Aselford has a rather flat, clinical, and underwhelming way of narrating.

Shallan is one of those characters that grows on you, like a fungus. That called for a Hoid / Shallan Oathbringer quote for those who don't know. lol.
