She wrote it as a satire for the way the media portrayed her for her dating life. She was called a serial dater and there were many jokes (and sadly there still are) about Taylor being a clingy, psycho girlfriend to every guy she came near, it got really outta hand and she said “this is an interesting character they’ve drawn up for me, let me write a song from This girl’s perspective” and she wrote this masterpiece that is and might forever be my absolute FAVORITE Taylor song of all time ❤
Enjoyable as always. I don't know if you discussed the meaning of the song in a previous video, but she wrote it as satire, poking fun at the picture the media had painted of her as a crazy, clingy serial dater. The boyfriend in the video was a model, not a professional actor, and apparently he was a bit intimidated to work with Taylor, especially around the lip biting scene. Also, the car smashing was all cgi, so the car was not hurt in the making of the video. You are correct that Taylor is the brains behind all of her projects, from the very beginning.
Story goes, the model who played the bf, his first scene was the one where Taylor bites his lip. The whole day, he was blushing hard, and had trouble making eye contact with Taylor. That's gotta be awesome.
I love the word play that you can discover even after your 20th listen. Small things like, “I can make all the tables turn”. There are three levels to that one. The one in the story itself, like she’s turning the tables on her boyfriend. The jab at the media portrayal of her- she’s taking the things they say about her, turning it into art and throwing it back in their face. Finally, she’s saying she can make the “tables turn” with her music (like record player turn tables). It’s so clever and I love her for it.
I’ve watched ten million reactions for every Taylor swift thing && like the variety! Y’all doing something different with y’all’s own personalities.

Taylor makes the best videos for all the reasons you guys mentioned, she tells a story in her videos that goes with the song unlike so many other artists where the video really has nothing to do with the song.

There was a inside joke within the fandom that Taylor doesn’t have a belly button because we had never seen it. Bejeweled was the first time she put it on display. If that helps clear up the mid drift question. Side note: one fan asked to take a pic with her bellybutton in a meet and greet because of said joke!

As for reactors, I don't think it's about 'best' or 'better'...I think different people listen to different ones and get different things from them - which is why we tend to binge different ones. I am also a fan of Aaron For Whatever Reason - he's thoughtful. I love Chats and Reacts reactions because they make me laugh, and their lyric breakdown videos can not be beat. Suffi Reacts has been fun to watch because he's grown into a Swiftie and become much more 'reactive' as time has progressed and he's learned Swiftie lore. Ally Sheehan is another good one. Alex...can't remember his channel name, also a good watch. So long story long, just be you and don't worry about (or comment on) other reactors. Thanks for the reaction, that video is such a vibe... Also... XD I have no idea who you are talking about, but you also have a teacher, don´t you? One with a beard, no less, and in a country where they don't have a particularly good time (something very much like my partner situtation -not in Spain-). That gives you points in my personal universe, character contrasts add up. Still, rants are fun, right? Funny reaction. (Yes, TS showed skin... but being very "classy". And the obsession with his belly button became something quite crazy among the paparazzi). And yes, being distracted by her amazing beauty (and brain) is normal.

The director of this video works in almost all of her music videos during the 1989 and reputation Era, but he, Joseph Khan said some homophobic comments or was it misogynistic comments?.. Anyway, she stopped working with him after those.. he's not the first talented person Taylor severed ties with for their problematic behavior or comments, she also severed ties with her lead dancer from 1989 tour for his misogynistic comments.
he was also infamous for his Anti Asian remarks (despite of him being Asian American) especially Anti Korean ... When k-pop started to become a huge subculture in America. He insulted the entire industry and the idols itself.

Disagree. I’ve watched all the Taylor videos on Welp’s Patreon and Ryan is a self-declared Swiftie. They’ve watched a lot including Miss Americana. Troy has some fun reactions to her newer albums, but he didn’t even care much for the Reputation album. The Taylor content on his Patreon is also low in comparison.
I think not necessarily the best taylor reactions, he has good reactions in general, the editing is probably the best on those reactions but so many things go over his head
