You guys have a great rapport which is what makes your lessons so dynamic and keeps the learners engaged. Pierre-Benoît has the best accent ever - he speaks English with a French AND a Scottish accent (to my American ears, that is.)
It’s so nice to put a face to the voices! I’ve been listening to their podcast on Spotify for almost a year. I wonder if Anna will show her face too. I love her voice and personality ❤️
It’s good to put the faces behind Coffee Break. I’ve been a fan, gosh for almost 10 years. Started with CBF and I remember being confused to know, two Scottish guys were teaching French. Of course I now know your true French background but your charming accents still makes learning French interesting. Keep up the great work Gentlemen .. I’m a big fan.
Excellent, guys, very itneresting! I've always wanted to know why Pierre-Benoît has a Scots accent! It's so cool to be able to switch between the languages like that!
My dad and I (who both speak Spanish and English) have started learning French with cbf :) it's pretty cool, we're enjoying it. Thanks for all the hard work from both of you. LOVE the Scottish accents :)
I have been listening to the coffee break languages podcasts for almost a month now and it's very strange to put a face to Mark's voice XD I love you guys ... Thanks you!
This is brilliant you two compliment each other so well and bring such energy to learning. I am an older student but desperately want to learn French so please keep these up they are great!!1
Thanks for an informative video. For viewers: The sound mixing made the beginning and ending music WAY too loud, you may want to be prepared with volume controls when you watch this.

Hi Marc. This conversation is part of our "Coffee Break Conversations" series, not specifically part of Coffee Break French. These episodes are aimed at learners of all languages, so that's why most of the conversation was in English. There are other videos on our channel where Pierre-Benoît mostly speaks in French. Hope that helps to explain.

Very interesting to hear a Scottish accent from a native French speaker.

The first time I heard him speak French I thought that’s a really good French accent coming from a Scotsman! 😆

Our pleasure! Thank you for listening.
Thanks for doing this. Have a great summer!
I like the shows where they read signs and adverts in Paris and explain the messages
Great Interview. My dream coffee break would be with you two - I have learned so much from you and currently enjoying the French Masterclass.
Our pleasure! Merci Brenda!
I am really enjoying these interviews. I would love to hear one with Alba from Show Time Spanish. I learned so much Spanish with you all!
Merci beaucoup vous deux ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ je suive coffee break french ❤️❤️
Je m'appelle ivan d'Inde..
Merci! Refreshing and interesting interview, enjoyed the energy and accents.
Glad you enjoyed it!
“Le vieux fusil” (war film) and “le prenom” (comedy) are Pierre-Benoit’s favourite films? Did I hear correctly? If so, will watch too!

We're glad to hear that you found this interview informative! Thank you for your comments about the video's sound - we'll take this on board.
Le cafe de la poste !
Great video!
Thanks!
I think that if someone ever cloned Pierre Benoit, the planet would not withstand that much of energy :D

A Scotsman and a Frenchman walk into a bar and start speaking Spanish
I didn't understand the last few minutes of what Pierre was saying in French
We've provided subtitles in English of the whole video. Click on the captions button to view them. Hope that helps.

Frenchman learned English with a Scottish accent

I didn't understand why the conversation wasn't in French. It would be more useful for all French learners.
