When that stream ended, my headcanon was that Sir Billiam is like a great great grandpa to Techno. But then someone said that Billiam is only a pig because Techno doesn't want to change lmao.

People saying Sir Billiam as Techno's ancestor, but what if Sir Billiam is Techno himself? Over time the blood egg drove him mad, and with his madness the voices came. The voices drowned out the egg, and he stole the power it had drunk in the blood of his sacrifices. So he became the blood god, and the egg was forced back into hibernation. For a time.
As time went by, Technoblade learned to live with the voices. His madness faded somewhat, and he was able to function among others to a degree. Remembering his time as one of the elites of society, he looked back on it in disgust. He turned his back on government and sought anarchy, for he knew how power could corrupt first hand. Yet even so the voices are still there. Calling for blood. Always.

I always found it ironic that Techno is a anarchist but wears king clothes. I know it's because he created the skin way before the Dream SMP but they always manage to incorporate the skins into the canon very well, like with Ranboo, so maybe this lineage could explain that and progress the plot, making Techno the one that needs to destroy the egg. I have my own headcanon of Techno's backstory but I prefer to not take it acount cause it's just too far fatched and fanfic like to be actually canon in any way so I'll just go with what they give us for now

So... lets talk theory:
Sir Billiam said that the egg can "persuade people" and take control over them. And well, we already know that. BUT! Look at how Antfrosts eyes changed after he was infected. Now look at Ranboos not enderman side. See what im talking about? Now, lets talk 🎇conspiracy🎇. So, Karl is a time traveler right? Well in 🎇conspiracy🎇 theres two specific words: time and space. Maby Karl isn't only a time traveler but time and SPACE traveler. By that i mean, he can travel back and fourth in time, yes, but also betweet diffrent universes. Worlds. *Spaces.* He could by accident, not knowing, travel to a different universe, where DSMP was never made, L'manburg never existed, Techno wasn't an anarchist! That would explain why here the egg is in some dungeon in a mansion and in the DSMP it was sitting underground That would explain why Sir Billiam is so similar to Techno yet they are so different. Sir B. is way more into talking and egoistic than Techno but they are both rich, hate one specific kind of unlucky people (Sir B. hates the poor and Techno hates orphans), know Ranboo (in this universe Butler) and they both love clout (Techno counts clout as subscriber and Sir B. as money). That would also explain why Ranboo here is a human and in DSMP universe he is a half enderman thingy. The time and space theory is pretty cool beacuse since Technos chat is canon, that would make everyones AU's (au = alternate universe) also technically canon! Ya know, all those Nightmare and angst AU's? Ye they would be canon! Also, remember what happened to the smiling face in the egg room in DSMP universe? It turned white right? Ranboos half again. Also 1. It now looks like the Dream smile. Why am saying it? Beacuse we now assume that the egg has some connection to the dreamons. So that would explain why 1. Ranboo can hear Dreams voice even when hes not there, beacuse Dream is still possessed by one! When Sapnap visited Dream, Dream didn't want to talk and the obsidian there turned into crying obsidian. Dream said that it was beacuse he wanted to built a portal, but me being a game/movie theorist, i don't belive him in the slightest! Beacuse 1. The egg turned obsidian into crying obsidian 2. EGG=DREAMON CONNECTION AGAIN. I belive that he didn't want to talk beacuse the dreamon rubbed of on his voice and he sounded a little like the eggs whispers (aka dreamon AGAIN) so knowing Sapnap is smart enough to see the connection he didn't talk. (I LIKE VILLIAN ANGST OK??). Wich ALSO would explain why he wanted so bad for Sapnap to deliver a message ":)" to Ranboo, out of all people he could talk to.
Anyway, thanks for coming to my ted talk! The time and space idea came to me when i was my own DSMP oc (lets be honest, we all have one). Im very sure about the AU theory but the dreamon one is more like a fanfiction, heh.

I think some more backstory is that after the visit, Sir Billiam kept feeding more peasants to the egg. He eventually ran out of people, and the egg grew more conscious and ate him. The reason why Techno wants to destroy the egg is because he knows from stories of his family that it poses a massive threat.
Actually, I think it’s that Sir Billiam made part of the egg into the omelette, and the power of the egg caused him to hear the voices, otherwise known as the chat, and he became the blood god.
